This is a decent monitor for the price. Viewing angle is good, color is good, picture quality is good. Controls on front panel are easy to access and use. My son uses this for an on-line racing game and I use it for multiple charts and trading platforms and we haven't noticed any ghosting or aliasing, which is good. The refresh rate is excellent redrawing my charts very quickly when I switch from one to another or make modifications. I wished height was adjustable and it had a USB port or two, but I am happy with the purchase.Adorama's customer service was excellent!

Seemed like a good deal and a good monitor for about 10 days; then, after powering on, horizontal lines formed across the entire bottom of the screen - but went away within minutes. No major problem... then they then began to go higher up the screen... and stay longer. Finally, they covered 70% of the screen - and never went away. Thinking the problem might be the Mini-DisplayPort adapter I had to get to connect it to my laptop, I even disconnected it... still had the lines. So, ordered a newer and better Dell monitor from BB for the same price and returned this to Walmart. Probably just got a lemon, but the new one is soooo much nicer and sharper.

Purchase this 24" gaming monitor from the pre-black friday event sale for $109.00! My old 19 dell monitor final died and I could not purchase a 20" for the same price. Great deal, but more importantly connection was easy and so was the installation- my computer is a Dell Inspiron 546 with Win 7-64bit. This monitor came with the install driver CD, power cable, and a RS-video cable. I choose to go with a new HDMI cable direct to my video card to the new monitor. I was up and running within 10 minutes with one firmware update and windows choosing my best settings. After 1 week - picture is flawless, great graphics. I could not ask for better. You can not go wrong with choosing this monitor for the price- it will not disappoint/

The quality of this is good. I support our employees in a remote environment. I deployed this monitor after the previous version that I loved was discontinued. The specs of this monitor are higher and overall, probably a better monitor. However!I sent this to an employee along with a new MBP. They couldn't get it to work (they are non-techy people and didn't know the definition of different cables). They took the MBP to an Apple Store with the monitor after exhausting everything I could think of remotely.Very long story somewhat short - it never dawned on me that Dell was trying to be incredibly cheap and send an updated version of a monitor, with higher specs: better resolution, higher contrast, ... with a stinkin' VGA cable only!? No HDMI cable in sight when one of the 'selling features' is two HDMI ports in the monitor.Only gave it 3 stars due to that. The picture is great, but just can't get over the ridiculousness of that. I thought it might have been a one-off and accidentally had the wrong cable in there, but have ordered others and same thing...Make sure you buy HDMI cables to go with it.
I read the other reviews before writing this and I can say that mine (I bought two) don't have the 'ghosting' issues another reviewer did. These are very nice monitors both for everyday use and gaming. This little monitor compared to my big 55" tv completely blows it away with the colors and clarity. I spent a lot of time agonizing over which monitors to buy because I didn't have a lot of money but this was the perfect purchase. The size is great without being too big or too small for the desk, the monitor angle is adjustable and my games look great (even from my PS4 and Xbox One). The only thing that I didn't realize is that it only takes an HDMI cord. Not a big deal, since I had so many just laying around anyway. If you're tight on money I would definitely ... Monitor is great, Gsync works well, gorgeous picture. The only negative is that 1 out of every 5 times I turn on the monitor there is a pixel offset in the picture. A vertical column of pixels seem to get lost and my picture becomes ever so slightly offset. You notice it when reading a word document and some letters are "thinner" than normal or when viewing a picture and it is spliced together. If this was fixed I would give this monitor at 5. Fortunately for me, when I turn the monitor off and on again the problem is fixed. I haven't been able to figure out what the problem is via google, but if anyone has any ideas, please let me know!
My old HP monitor went out and while I was shopping for a new one, I had my pc hooked up to a 1080p 55" TV. It was fun but I would have had to rearrange my entire area just to make it permanent. So I shopped. Found this Dell monitor. Liked the features including fast response time. Other gaming monitors would have cost 100s more. So I took a chance. I am not disappointed. Crystal clear picture, no motion streaks when playing fast on battlefront 2, colors are so vibrant and blacks are solid dark and details are phenomenal. Only think I didn't like was not having a dvi port. You get 2x HDMI and 1x vga.
I got this monitor to hook up to a laptop for my home office. I don't normally purchase Dell products but I'm impressed with this one. The resolution is really good and it has an excellent refresh rate. The screen does not irritate my eyes (as some of the really bright screens do). It was easy to set up right out of the box and came with a monitor cable. The base doesn't require any screws to assemble which was nice. There isn't any noticeable difference between using the monitor cable and using a high definition cable. An added bonus was that it was on sale for a really good price. I had it shipped to my home with free delivery and it came a day earlier than expected. I'm very happy with the purchase and with the service.
I got this for my work space at home, although not as big as the extended monitors we have at work, it still gets the job done. It's been great to have, the response time of the screen and resolution have been great especially for this price tag. The anti glare has been useful as well on bright days. I haven't been using all the ports but it's a nice thing to have those extra connections. Only thing I can nit pick at is that the neck isn't adjustable. I would love to be able to adjust the angle so it's looking up a little, or left. But the screen is set to the angle of the stand. Oh well that's a small inconvenience.
if you do not have too much money, if you also want to get a big screen monitor, this one is perfect. i tried this one in store and compared it with accer 27, it does't ghost. i tried different videos through it, seems great. of course, it cannot be compared with 2k monitor. i still like it. if i have more budget, i'd like to get a 2k monitor. this one only provides a VGA cable, and i bought a HDMI cable〠have to admit, it's more expensive to buy cable in CANADA, should've bought some cables when i was in CHINA】. it doesn't have an audio output. anyway, still great monitor.
