Pretty good coffee machine but some big failings. Imagine charging someone $1300 for a coffee machine and then telling them they need to pay another $30 and order a water filter. Why doesn’t it come with the product? Annoying that the milk froth stick isn’t a little longer so you don’t have to hold the milk container in your hand. Nice coffee though, once you adjust all the settings to your liking. You’ll need to view YouTube videos from coffee enthusiasts because the manual and the Delonghi website are absolutely useless.

Bought Magnifica S Auto machine as a Christmas present for myself after great reviews from a family member with one. I had the benefit of trying their machine first and it was so easy to use and produced a great cappuccino. I really love it.
after 2 months of using,I am now understand why the coffee that's produced in this machine is not as good as manual machine:It is purely because of the HOPPER:1.hopper is not air tight cover lid.2. Hopper is not removable to store the leftover coffee.3. Meaning every coffee beans we pour have to be use in a few hours4. Once the coffee beans become less, the pressure of the beans become less and so the extraction is not as much/ as great-inconsistent.In conclusion,I really really not enjoying this machine at all.. due to the poor design of the hopper makes it not good and inconsistent.i wish i buy a manual machine instead!do not buy this product!
I have had nothing but problems with the ECAM12.122 coffee machine. Have had the same model replaced three times and now just not getting any response from DeLonghi customer service. The problems I am having are that the descale light is continually on, even after I have descaled the machine. Plus the milk wand will sometimes blow off into the milk, which could seriously burn someone. Same two problems with all three machines. They tell me I am the only person this has happened to???

For some reason, some brands of decaf ground coffee make the machine pour so slowly that it is a drizzle. Others are fine. Besides avoiding those brands, any tips?
