With the months of rain we had to start the year, our place was starting to have issues with mould and general dampness. After looking around at dehumidifiers I settled on this unit as the reviews were pretty good. Straight out of the box and put it to work through the days in the bedrooms and at night running it out in the living rooms (bit noisy for bedroom use at night). It was surprising how much moisture it extracted, for the first week was consistently filling the 5litre tank once through the day and again overnight. You really can feel the difference in the air. Its handy when you turn it on it shows the humidity amount in the air and it updates as it goes.I would, and have recommended to friends and family.

Purchased this dehumidifier to replace the same model from the 90s. Im really impressed, definitely is very efficient and the air in the room feels clean and light. The downside is the size of the tank is a lot smaller than my 20 year old model which means emptying more frequently. My tip is look at the tank size between models if youre deciding between different ones. But overall I would recommend this product and am happy with the purchase

Following weeks of battling the intense rain and ensuing damp & mould it was clear we needed to do something. I was blown away at the efficacy of this machine! It pulled about 20 litres of moisture out of the air within 24 hours. It's highly portable, we are in a split level home so moving this around is key. We could literally feel the difference in the rooms where it had been...and within a few days, the entire home. I would happily buy more. It's excellent. Easy to empty, simple instructions and a great warranty also. Very very happy.

Only had this a week but we love it. It is nice to see on the display what the actual humidity is. We have it in a large open room and it probably takes out 8-10 litres of water a day. When set at 50% humidity it operates to 47% and then comes back on at 54%. In a quiet room it seems a bit noisy but with the tv on its fine. Probably comparable with the split system. The water tray is very easy to get in and out. If you buy this product you won't be sorry.

We turn it on for between 14-18 hours and the container get about 3/4 filled. I find the noise level reasonable. It's not loud but you know that it's on.There's an app you could download to control the dehumidifier remotely but it's only if you have an Apple device. It's not compatible with Android which is a shame as I do not use Apple device. I later found out online that the white ones are Apple compatible and the black ones are Android compatible. Missing BioSilver/Silver Ion filter, while it advertised 4 filters action. I assume the active carbon filter is integrated with HEPA filter, the manual clearly shows the BioSilver/Silver Ion filter is a separated filter. It is not either already in the unit or in the pacakge. The filters are also unavilable on spare part shop on their website. It shows the BioSilver/Silver Ion filter (I guess it is as it doesn't specify what filter it is) is out of stock, while HEPA filter is unavailable at all. We bought a Ariadry Dehumidifier during the heavy rains because we were having mould problems. Initially we were having to empty the water hopper every 8 hours as it was drawing so much damp out. But it worked - the mould disappeared and everything feels drier and warmer. The unit is easy to use, quiet and doesn’t use much power ( I’m on solar so can check my app - this unit barely registers). We bought a second one as our home is an old, large, 2 story house and they still both collect a hopper of water a day each. If I leave damp clothes in front of them they dry really quickly so I’m not using the tumble drier as much now. My asthma is also better. It’s no exaggeration to say these dehumidifiers have really improved our quality of life and I only wish we had bought them years ago.
Being in an apartment (even a brand new one), our bedroom window is prone to bad condensation on cold nights with a lot of water collecting on our window sill. We bought this dehumidifier for winter and it's completely resolved the issue. It warms up the room a bit (which is ok for winter anyway), and generates a low hum which has a white noise effect while we sleep. Really easy to use control panel and switches off when it's full.
I originally purchased a Delonghi humidifier over 5 years ago that's still going strong and keeps my bathroom and laundry condensation and mould free. I needed one for the other end of my house. Condensation in the mornings has gone from the windows. It keeps the humidity at a good level. The tank is easy to empty. It works really well. I love my Delonghi and would 100% buy it again.
Pros:It’s great at sucking excess moisture out of the air.Easy to use.Has an air purifier mode just using the HEPA filter.Cons:It’s loud like an old fridge. I like sleeping with some background noise but this is too loud for me to sleep in the same room. I run it in the next room and it’s fine though.It’s heavy. The wheels make it easy to move around but it would be annoying to take up and down flights of stairs.
