The fan is functional but unfortunately it's quite loud and makes a low frequency hum that gave me a headache and could be heard two rooms away. A cheap pedestal fan was much quieter!

This fan has got me through summer! Im so happy with this purchase that I even bought my parents one. Its very cooling, doesnt just blow hot air which is great! Fairly quiet on the 1st setting but it can be rather loud on the higher settings. i really love this fan

Good value for the price. Does a great job of cooling a small area and is very quiet. Excellent for cooling bedroom on hot humid nights.

It has excellent performance, does not take up much space, and is quiet. However, I hesitated a little because it was a little expensive.
Bought on brand reputation and to replace a cheap k-mart fan that lasted only one summer. Runs quietly and has excellent build quality.
Minimal/sleek design. Easy to assemble and move around to different rooms if required. Much less noise than a pedestal fan and good range of fan speeds. The ability to have direction of airflow different for top and bottom sections is a great function. Remote control is handy and easily stored at the top of the unit if desired.

Overall, I'm really happy I chose this fan. It's relatively quiet - I use it in the bedroom, I'm a light sleeper and the low setting is still quite powerful, but quiet enough to sleep. I like how the lights dim too. I especially like that you can turn the top section to blow the air in another direction. This helps control the air flow, it's a great feature.
