As a long black drinker this coffee machine perfectly meets my needs for a great strength short or long shot when I need it. very affordable option with the bonus of the sleek, compact design, taking up little room on the bench. So compact it's easy to take with me on weekends away. The size doesn't take away from the durable build, the lever is strong and easy to use and all the components are easy to clean. So happy the machine I've bought another as a housewarming gift.

We use thus is our travel machine. Its very good little unit. Add the frother and its like its bigger brother. Coffee not quite as hot but this will pay for itself in no time. I enjoy my Nespresso and this is a great unit. For owners of small units and apartments this is a unconditional recommend. But the white unit for light kitchens - its a beautiful unit. Very well designed.

This machine does just what I expected. I wanted a small device in my study I could use for a cup of coffee, or water for a cup of tea, without tromping to the kitchen, and it does that. The design is economical of space and uncluttered, and the coffee is entirely acceptable (I haven't explored all the varieties, but it comes with a range of Nespresso capsules as a taster, and the supermarket sells satisfactory capsules from major coffee firms). Espresso isn't my favourite mode of coffee, and I suspect if you really wanted a coffee syrup as found in Italy you'd be disappointed--well, in fact you wouldn't be because you wouldn't expect such a thing from a small machine.The only limitations are that the water supply is a bit small (a trade off for the compact design ... MoreThis machine does just what I expected. This is my second Nespresso machine. I wanted to 'downsize' as I have minimal bench space in my current kitchen. This machine puts out a great coffee for such a small unit. It's hot, with great pressure and extraction. Yes, the water tank is small but I fill it with fresh water daily so this isn't an issue for me. It's a tidy looking little unit, sleek in its design and very simple - even the most gadget-resistant person could easily use rhis without feeling intimidated. I love that Nespresso give you a sample pack of pods to try.This unit is easy to dismantle and clean, a quick rinse suffices. The receptacle for the discarded pods is also small so frequent emptying is a must. Overall, this is a great little unit for the price and the coffee is great.
Love the Nespresso Essenza Mini Solo - I did a fair bit of research and I believe the original Nespresso system delivers the best bang for buck and variety of pods hands down - buying the newer Nespresso Vertuo machines locks you into the propriety Nespresso pods which are more expensive (so beware!). The Essenza is easy to use as well. We did had an Aldi Expressi machine ages ago and compared to that, this machine is more compact, stylish and also makes a better espresso shot. The welcome kit pod selection was a nice addition, but I will support local Australian pod makers with biodegradable pods . Buy with confidence!
This machine is great for me. It is smaller than my previous machine and you cannot seem to set the volume of output as per my previous machine. I don't know if it is my imagination but it doesn't seem to get as hot as my previous machine. I always heat my cup first with hot water from the machine. It is compact and looks sleek, sitting nicely on the kitchen bench. I like the white colour. It is easy to operate. The collection bucket for used capsules is smaller than my previous machine so it needs emptying more often.
I am so impressed with this little machine. It takes up hardly any space on my benchtop, yet delivers a delicious cup of coffee. It is easy to refill and clean and surprisingly quiet. The machine does not take long to heat and the coffee comes out hot. The deal offered by Nespresso for $40 free pods was also amazing, allowing me to taste a variety of different coffees. The sales representative in store was incredible, she managed to get us registered with Nespresso, helped choose our coffee pods and finalise the purchase of the machine. Nespresso called within 2 days to confirm the purchase of the pods and they arrived within a week to our door - very time efficient. Overall, very impressed with the product and service from Nespresso.
My daughter needed a new coffee machine (third one in as many years- different brands) just needed something to make expresso and lungo coffees quite often during the day. This machine does the job really well doesn't take up too much room in pantry and is quick and not noisy . Would have liked a little greater capacity but this was my choice. Great price and service from Myer earned points as well. Altogether very satisfied with my purchase. Not every machine needs to be complicated to do the job

Pods have improved enormously in recent years and while we still use our french press this is a great addition to our small kitchen for the occasional one or two coffees. I'd recommend it for low-use, if you drink more than one or two a day I'd go something with a bigger water container. Very small footprint, so easily fits in a corner of the benchtop that doesn't get much use, and I'm pleased to have the frother separate, rather than built in, so that it doesn't permanently take up space (can go in a cupboard if not being used).
