Bought this cooler to take camping, and Im thoroughly impressed! Set it up in our 10 person tent with the frozen bricks (included), and it kept the tent quite cool overnight. Worked better than my actual expectation. Definitely recommend!

It does not cool in Gold Coast due to high humidity. This fact is mentioned in the manual as well. It is no different than a normal fan in humid conditions. I am happy with the customer service for providing refund when I returned the product.

Its a great little cooler. Good quality, good functionality, simple settings that are easy to use & understand. Water that it requires seems to go a long way you dont need to fill often at all. The ice brick it takes is a bit disappointing tho Id say cos it doesnt really change temp of air or make it cooler. Only real downfall I struggle with is when it gets to hottest part of the day & its fairly high in temp outside, it ends up not really making a difference however Im living in a room at the moment thats no insulation isnt solid brick & heats up very easily

Great little unit. Too many comments stating its now cold enough ect. This is a evap. Cooler. And does a magical job to cool air and blow a very powerful breeze. Freeze the blocks, add ice cubes if needed and chilled water, and you have yourself colder air than a new vehicle. Its saved us from miserable nights in the heat while we have waited for a new a/c unit.
Bought this item right after the new year, as the temperature was soaring high and the air conditioner died down and still waiting for it to be fix until now. I am so glad that I bought this evaporative cooler, at least it helps the temperature inside our house tolerable. It makes a lot of difference. Its easy to operate, it also has a remote as well.
The whole evaporative thing doesnt work in Sydney. Well not for me. Its too humid here. It makes no difference and in fact just makes it more humid. Not cooler. I use in the fan function only as its better than hot moist air. Probably works fine in low humid environment. To be fair this is said in other forums and I still have it a go. I shouldnt have. Its my fault not the product.
I like the simpleness and compact design and it's easy it use. Main problems are it's a little noisy and the control lights light up the bedroom at night making it annoying. Overall it does it's job of keeping the room cool making it easier to sleep on hot nights.
This cooler looks very nice, but really doesn’t do a great job of cooling the room, unless we’ve turned it on for hours and place icy cold water in the water tank. It never cools the living room, the reason being that it’s larger room and is expected, but I thought it would cool our small study and bedrooms but it really takes hours. Overall the product is good so far, but wouldn’t recommend it unless you are trying to cool down a very small space.
You would be better off buying a nice pedestal fan. Although this can blow a cool breeze with cold water. Mine leaks water so I have put it in a drip tray. Only 2 weeks old. Also noisy.
This unit is so much better than the one it replaced which was 7 years old. The fan speeds, airflow settings and sleep features and having a remote control all make it good. Better than my last unnamed unit nis the dust filter and honeycombe drip through which the air flows to cool the room. It is very effective as a room cooling device. My only concern is that the water reservor is small so the unit need filling every few hours.
