When did kettles get so expensive? This was the best looking kettle I could find that wasn’t outrageously expensive, but still overpriced for such a basic appliance. It boils water fine though.

I love, love this kettle, nor only does it look sensational in the kitchen...the colour is just right. Love looking at it. I'm quite fussy and it took me ages to find a replacement set my previous Scultura Delonghi Kettle and Toaster set. I loved that too and the Kettle lasted 8 years, the toaster is still going, but unfortunately they discontinued the model. So this set is definitely a winner also. Gorgeous. Goes perfectly with my hampton/coastal modern provincial home. Love, love it ❤️ Boils fast and is quiet.

This is probably the noisiest kettle I’ve ever owned. It’s impossible to remove the lid without burning yourself once the kettle has been boiled. It does look nice but it’s a poor kettle that’s annoying to use.

The feature of this product I like best is the capacity of water it holds. I love the Italian style and that Delonghi products are made in Italy. I choose yellow to offset the white kitchen. It's become a stylish and modern feature on my kitchen bench-top, and it's received many compliments from my visitors. I bought another one as a housewarming gift for my sister, who admired mine when she visited.
Thank you for the opportunity to write a review about out newly purchased Icona Kettle. Since purchasing our new kettle we are very pleased with our choice as it firstly looks fantastic on our kitchen bench as it works in well with all other colours. Secondly when boiling it is very quiet and comes to the boil very quickly. It has a great shape as we love the curve of the actual kettle as it just looks really cool on our kitchen bench. It is very easy to wipe over as the polished finish makes this easy and the surface is not porous so no stains from other foods or happenings in the sink or on the bench near the kettle occur. All in all I would recommend the Icona Kettle as it does all the above for us every time.
I am extremely happy with this jug. The shape of the pouring spout is well designed a real safety feature. It is a light jug which is great for the elderly as muscle weakness can be an issue with advancing years. It is quieter than my previous upmarket jug. The lid comes off completely so there are no parts which can break, which also happened with my last jug.
This kettle was a replacement for our older model Delonghi Icona white kettle which had a black base and handle instead of this new grey coloured base and white handle. This Icona Capitals (Sydney) white model is the closest we could find to match the style and colour of our original kettle to our matching Icona toaster. The kettle works as well as our original kettle which we really enjoyed using. It's not as noisy as some stainless steel kettles. This kettle looks very stylish in the kitchen, the handle is comfortable, the kettle is very easy to use, it boils quickly and pours well. Very happy with this purchase.
Beautiful yet practical kettle. Side handle design rather than top arched handle eliminates the previous kettle issues I had with hot steam over hand when pouring! Also easy to open lid for fast refill with no top handle getting in the way. Pointed spout rather than circular makes for easy no drip pouring. Quiet boil. Stylish & easy to keep sparkling clean. Absolutely recommend this kettle. So impressed I have since purchased matching toaster & it’s equally impressive.
I would highly recommend the Icona Capitals Sydney Kettle. I spent weeks googling kettles. I knew that I wanted something pretty special and found myself constantly returning to the Icona. Once my decision was made I simply had to decide on a colour. I am more than happy with my choice. It not only functions well, it looks great on my bench, very cosmopolitan I think.
Had my previous Delonghi kettle for 9 years and was sad it started leaking. So I wanted another one and thought paying a bit more I would get something nice looking and hope it lasts as long. But i also would of thought 9 yrs later it would be quiet! When it boils it is soooooo loud I have to turn the volume up on the TV! Very disappointed I have to say & I should of done more research.
