Great coffee machine for a great price. Purchased it after reading hundreds of reviews and recommendations. I just wanted to make sure I'm spending my bucks on the correct place. My partner couldnt be happier with his Delonnghi LaSpecialista Arte coffee machine as a gift. He makes a cappuccino every day before work and sometimes even when he gets home. Hes over the moon that he now has the ability to just make premium barista quality coffee whenever he feels like it, without the price, waiting in line or ordering on an app. He especially loves the fact he can manually froth his own milk, and add his very own artistic flair too. Its something he wants to master and is even thinking of doing a certified barista course. I highly recommend this machine!

I've owned 2 other manual coffee machines in the past. This one ticks all the boxes. The updated grinder from the older La Specialista is a great improvement. The now superseded La Specialista (new model La Specialista Prestigio) only had 6 grind settings, the Arte and Prestigio now have 8 settings. So you can dial in the grind with much better precession. I was going to buy the Prestigio, but for the extra money you really only get the built-in tamper and a "My" setting. Not worth the extra money in my opinion. You can customise each coffee setting anyway, so the "My" setting is a bit pointless I think. The built-in tamper on the Prestigio is great, but is it really worth $200 more The Arte takes up less space on the counter too, which is great for me. The other thing to note is both new models use non-pressurised baskets, compared to the old model had pressurised. Non-pressurised is so much better. Less forgiving, but a better result once you've dialled in the grind and amount. Overall I love this machine. The best coffee machine I have ever owned. If you've never owned a manual coffee machine before, I recommend you get on YouTube and look up some "how to" videos. There's a few about using the La Specialista Prestigio, they would relate to this machine too (except for the built-in tamper of course).

The best coffee machine! If you love to make your own espresso and you enjoy improving your amateur barista skills, this machine is for you. This machine has everything well packed. From the grinder to the tampering. It makes a really good espresso. You cant go wrong with this machine. At the beginning, it takes a bit of research on how to get the best coffee, but once you know the tricks, the coffee is similar to your best coffee shop. The steamer is really good, we use oat milk and the results are amazing!
This machine makes a great cup of coffee once you dial it in correctly. Straight out of the box using regular coffee beans and following the simple instructions it works. Delonghi have a full range of videos on YouTube that walk you through every aspect of using and maintaining this machine. For the ultimate coffee check out various YouTube videos to dial in for a great cup. Not a commercial machine but it can make a coffee shop quality cup of coffee. I highly recommend this machine

I really like that there are just enough features on the coffee machine to really customise your coffee - for example the temperature of the water, 1 or 2 shots of coffee, choice of espresso, long-black or tea and the grind regulation for the coffee beans. The coffee bean grinder function works really well, but there is a bit of a learning curve to getting the dosing amount right. The instructions were easy to read and within minutes, I had it plugged in and raring to go. After a dry run, I filled up the beans container and was grinding a perfectly measured shot of coffee.
