An excellent canister to keep coffee fresh. You just pump the lid to remove the air. It has a little indicator that shows that air hadn't leaked in.

Scanty instructions how to use the Date/Timer. Also the lid often releases itself, loses its vacuumed pressure, after a while. After having pressed the large top button to remove air from canister, have found the lid loose on top of canister.

Other products either had bad reviews, ie problematic, or the fake ones which say vacuum in the description but have no such feature.I bought this for my son for Christmas, he has since gone on holiday and the canister hasnt lost its vacuum at all. Added bonus is the silver and black is a perfect match for his Breville machine

Perfect for keeping beans fresh once bag is opened and so easy to use. It also looks very stylish next to my much loved DēLonghi Coffee machine, which is being used constantly throughout the day. Love DēLonghi products, used their coffee machine for five years now.
Product has some nifty features like the pump vacuum and also ability to set a date so you know when you put the contents inside. Price is good compared to other brands selling alternatives. The stainless steel is nice out of the box but a fingerprint magnet. Lid is held on by vacuum only - just sits on top so need to remember that it's not attached if you don't have pressure. Would also be careful not to 'over-pump' the pressure which could damage the top with too much pressure.
The product simply does not work, the vacuum can last any where from minutes to a day. I cannot understand how this product is being sold. I suggest you save your money. If I could give it minus stars I would be pleased to.
This might just be one of my favorite things that I ordered. It keeps the coffee fresh by vacuum packing it with each use. I believe it is meant for beans, and has a date minder built into it, but I use it daily and reseal my fresh ground coffee. Now my coffee doesn't take up space in my freezer to stay fresh.
I bought this 4 months ago and it was great, and kept the beans fresh. But a week or two ago I noticed my espresso tasting a little funny. A few days after that started, I found my canister completely unsealed, and it hasn’t been able to stay air tight since.
The vacumn action does not work properly as I can pump and pump but after an hour the seal is not tight. This will then not keep the coffee fresh as promised. These are expensive items and I will just use a jar. The also told me no warranty which makes absolutley no sense to me. I will use the metal canisters in my garage when doing oil changes and recycle the plastic lids. I have two so I threw 4 $20 bills into the wind when I left the store. The support team was helpful but in the end they couldnt replace the defective product. ALWAYS check reviews before buying anything because this a known problem.
A little too small for me. I purchase coffee in a kg bag and having filled the coffee grinder on my Breville still leaves left over coffee in the bag.If the canister was a little larger would be better.I would recommend this to a friend only if they were purchasing 500grams of coffee beans at a time
