Delta Children Clermont 6 Drawer Dresser, Bianca White

We ordered this dresser for our daughter's nursery and are pleased with it. The chocolate color is beautiful. (We also ordered the changing table top and the crib.) It came quickly. It is quite heavy - over 100 pounds. It took my husband and I about 4 hours to put together. It is very helpful to have two people, especially when it comes to putting the sides on. The instructions were clear and we didn't have a problem following them.The drawers glide easy and are a good depth. It appears to be a great value for the price. I'm looking forward to using it when our little girl comes in a couple months.

We received this dresser as a baby shower gift. I was nervous just because it is sold online only so there is no way to see it in person before buying. It didn't take too long to put together and it is sturdy and the quality is is great. I am very pleased with how it looks. We switched out the knobs that came with it and purchased knobs that went with our nursery theme. I think it totally changed the look of the dresser and made me fall in love with it even more! My only complaint is that there is a scratch on the front near the top corner. Nothing a little white touch up paint can't fix and not too big a scratch that I would return the whole dresser. Overall I am very pleased and would purchase again.

Complicated construction and errors in pieces

Once it is together it seems fine, and will serve our purposes, but the construction was fairly complicated and took about three people to successfully complete. The dowels are smaller than the holes so everything is VERY wobbly and rickety until all the pieces and screws are together, which required lots of other hands to hold things to make sure it didn't collapse halfway through the process. Also, one of the top rails was drilled incorrectly (the dowel and screw holes were reversed) so we had to drill the screw hole ourselves.

Decent Value

Purchased this for our nursery and were pleasantly surprised at the quality. It took a while to put together since it comes in about a thousand pieces and there were a few mislabeled pieces. But we had everything we needed to put it together and the instructions were easy to follow. When all was said and done we were surprised that it looked pretty nice and felt pretty sturdy.We were concerned about what "Bianca white" meant but it's pretty much just plain white and looks great with our other white nursery furniture.Took off one star for two reasons: 1. it came with a couple of nicks that are unsightly but not big enough to warrant taking the whole thing apart and back to the store. 2. Good quality dresser from manufacturer. Bad experience from target

Great quality dresser the only downside is it took 4 hours to put together and the front dresser drawer were chipped. Delta didn't hesitate to replace the drawers they will be shipping them out soon. Target on the other hand I was not too impressed about. They were supposed to ship out a changing pad as part of a promotion for the dresser and it was Never shippee. They even said they will not ship the pad if i didnt get it. it was not put in my order at all it was from target.com i will notbe buying furniture from target.com or any target stores anymore due to this experience. By the way they didnt do anything to try to resolve this issue.

Lovely Dresser

Very cute dresser with adequate space! I will agree that there is a strong odor but it goes away after a few days. I kept the windows open to the nursery when I could as well and it really wasn't that bad after 2-3 days. Honestly, my sister-in-law helped me put it together and didn't notice the smell as much as I did so it may be its a pregnancy thing! It took us both a little over an hour to put it together. As people have stated before, there are A LOT of pieces but it wasn't difficult to do. Just time consuming. I gave it 4 stars because of the smell and there was a drawer that was chipped in the corner. Overall, i'm very much looking forward to using this as our son's first dresser!

Sturdy and Easily Assembled

Overall, I really like this dresser so far. The color is beautiful and once assembled, it is sturdy. There were a few dings in the drawer fronts by nothing Old English can't hide. All the pieces were grouped together and labeled. I am 34 weeks pregnant and was able to assemble in about 2 hours by myself with my husband helping me to lift it to re-position a few times. It says not to use a power drill...I did for the drawers and attaching the particle board to the back. Otherwise, it would've taken a lot longer. My one wish would be that the drawer bottoms were thicker.

Sturdy piece, white finish isn't quality

I bought this 5 years ago, to be fair, and I really liked the look of it. I don’t remember assembly being too difficult for my pregnant self and it is pretty sturdy. It wasn’t too long though before the finish began to chip and crack on the top and the handles. This has been used normally and I was hoping to get more use out of it but I’m looking to replace it

Overall Im fairly happy with this dresser. We are expecting our first baby girl and I read hundreds of reviews on comparable products. I was pleased with shipping and arrival of package. The box came a little bit "beat up" but, nothing was damaged. There are quite a few reviews saying how difficult this dresser is to put together. I am fairly handy with tools and do custom woodworking on the side. I did not find it super difficult. HOWEVER. There is definitely a slight issue with the production line of this piece, (and If I get around to it will try to contact customer support at DELTA). There is one corner of the SIDE wall Part B that has a metal insert that you screw a bolt (BB) into to attach to the rest of unit in STEP #5. It LOOKS ok from visual inspection, but when you actually try to screw bolt into place (especially if its the last one, it will not work properly without stripping the bolt!) The way I eventually got it to work, was to disassemble the side PartB and then reassembled it STARTING with the problem corner, and then the other corners still screwed in straight. Hopefully that makes sense and hopefully that helps some of you out there!As for the actual use of the dresser... it looks nice. goes with the rest of our decor. It goes nicely and matches our Babyletto MODO crib. The drawers seem to slide well. (Haven't really loaded up the dresser yet as we are just getting baby clothes at baby shower(s)). I'll update review if there are any other issues, but I don't anticipate any further problems! :)

great for the money

I bought this dresser and a matching crib (fancy 4 in 1 convertible crib by delta) in the white/Bianca color and am pleased with both. Both pieces of furniture are similar in that they are good enough- look nice, are heavy, and seem sturdy/durable. Drawers open and close nicely on dresser. These are not life-long pieces of furniture, however. Once they are inevitably used/abused by our kids, they will have served their purpose- ie. we won't be refinishing these for future generations. That said, really pleased with the quality given the price, and should function really nicely for the intended purpose (infant/toddler/child's room furniture). Would buy again.
