It produces a deep ended thumping bass that sounds natural, the sound is full bodied such that you can listen at low level and still have music definitiIon and there is little to no distortion even at maximum volume. It would have been helpful to have more on device controls to reduce reliance on the app. Connection to wifi could be faster and while the app (heos) has been reliable, searching for music is not without fustration, I think the music discovery side of the app needs redesign.Overall, good purchase and would have liked another speaker to make a pair but so expensive!

Great Sound.. frustrating video sync on bluetooth

I Love the sound that the 350 produces. My only issue is playing video / streaming services/ cable through the speaker is not synced. There is a lag that is very noticeable. Right now I can only listen to music. I reached out to customer service by email several times. No response. I searched online for possible solutions. Yes I upgrade the firmware. Yes my network speed is plenty fast 900 up and down. So the only issue is the device itself. I use other bluetooth speakers and I am not having these issues at all. Would love it if someone reached out to me or gave me a solution that works.

If denon home 250 sounds similar to heos five which it replaces then it is strangely a model in the middle. Just a combination of 2x home 150 driver and the passive radiator doesn't add a good bass sound.

Great sound but need to be in stereo mode
9 June 2023

Ok i got two of those speakers for about a week now. Sound quality is great obvs for wi fi speakers. Really nice deep base clean high tones. About the app lots of people don't like it I can't really say that about it it's ok could be a bit better but I enjoy it anyway. Connecting it is really easy not designed for TV at all as it need some time to buffer the music. And like I said before it's sounds good but it defo need to be in stereo then one speaker is not enough. And I'm really happy that I listen to the guys from Glasgow shop and got two of them.

Great sound, really easy to set up.
13 October 2022

I recently purchased the Denon home 350 speaker. There wasn’t one to look at in our local Richer Sounds but they had the 250 version which is smaller but sounded good.We had it delivered to our home quickly and set up was very straightforward. The HEOS app is easy to use and you can select various options of what or how to play music through the device. There is a radio option where you can search for a radio station of choice. The sound from the 350 can be very loud with a thumping bass. You can alter the bass levels in the app if it’s too much though. I’m really happy with my purchase.

Great sounding speaker but an average app
26 January 2021

Purchased this recently from Richersounds in Holborn and as always received fantastic service. To give you a bit of background I had the Heos 7 HS2 until 2018. The speaker sounded awesome but the app was horrific. I sold my Heos 7 and picked up a Sonos Play 5. The Sonos sound pretty close to my Heos 7 and the app was so slick. Fast forward to 2021, I pretty much got bored of the Sonos and was longing for a change. After a lot of reading I purchased the Deon Home 350. Setup was very simple and boy oh boy does this thing sound fantastic. It is very bassy and can go very lound. I listen to lot of EDM and hip hop and don't mind the bass. If you are not a bass lover, you can customise it from the app. I tested the Sonos Play 5 and Denon Home 350 side by side at 50% ... MorePurchased this recently from Richersounds in Holborn and as always received fantastic service. The app has improved significantly but no where close to the Sonos app. I just use Airplay 2 and Spotify Connect and ignore the Heos app unless I need to tweak the settings. If you want a speaker that sounds awesome get the Home 350. If you want a good mix of hardware and software get the Sonos.

I asked for an in store demo at Croydon and, as ever, they went the extra mile. They did not have the product in stock but ordered in two so that I could compare stand alone with a matched stereo pair.As ever the staff were helpful, knowledgeable and, perhaps most importantly, patient. They were able to call up all of the tracks that I wanted and more. The single unit was impressive with a surprisingly wide stereo sound stage and well defined top and mix range. As others have commented the bass response is better than many stand alone sub woofers and nothing short of remarkable in a unit this size.As a stereo pair they excel with a warm room filling sound.Room constraints dictated that I had to trade down from a pair of q acoustic 3030i's and a minx 350 sub ... MoreI asked for an in store demo at Croydon and, as ever, they went the extra mile. Two weeks in and the new set up continues to impress. The units themselves, with glass tops and proximity activated controls, look really nice and the HEOS app is simple to get to grips with. I can see myself expanding the set up in time to come.Thank you Richer Sounds for all your help!

No instructions for Roon
26 March 2023

These are described as "Roon ready" in the sales copy. But there is no mention of Roon in the entire 99 page Denon Home 350 manual. I cannot find any help online on how to get these speakers working with my Roon Core. They do not show up on the Roon remote (My Denon AVR does show). Of the 3 ways to set up these for HEOS, 2 failed repeatedly on both of my purchased speakers. The wired setup worked, then switched to wireless mode. And yes, I updated to the latest firmware.

Throw away your Sonos or any other brand
24 May 2023

I'm quite picky when I buy something. Better something good than something cheap. For me there must be quality. And I got it with the Denon Home 350. As a music lover, listening to my favorite music brought tears to my eyes. Beautiful and simply impressive sound. I immediately bought a second one for the stereo effect. But I'm waiting for the upgrade of their Heos software and connectivity with Google assist...
