The x1800 is a great mixer. My most recent mixer was a pioneer DJM 700. I felt the sound quality was great on the Pioneer, but the x1800 is much clearer and has more discernable headroom when mixing tracks together. The effects are solid. The ability to hook up two computers to the mixer for the price is excellent.I can honestly say the quality of this product will up your game a notch or two. At the moment I do not own the SC5000 media decks that compliment this mixer. I do have CDJs and was easily able to get the mixer to become my new soundcard hub while connecting using the RCA inputs.

Loving this item. I’m 40 years old, and only just learning to DJ. It’s a new hobby. Self tort. I find it’s a good stres relief. And have to learn so much. But the Denon X1800 is a awesome mixer, and I can’t wait to get my Denon SC5000’s.

Love this mixer, went from an old pioneer DJM to this and can't be happier. Solid build, great sound & I love the feel. The FX are only so so but I don't use them that much so not really an issue for me. Also the normal red line less are blue instead. Not sure why doesn't bother me but might bother some people. All in all a fantastic mixer that I would recommend to anyone. So if you are in the market for a new mixer definitely give it a road test.

The x1800 is a great mixer. My most recent mixer was a pioneer DJM 700. This mixer is a beast......the sound and performance is immense. Even if you can't afford or don't want to invest in the Prime Players this mixer is worth a serious look to purchase on its own. Everyone needs to remove the blinkers which they have on regarding the competition....THE BAR HAS BEEN RAISED!!!
Feature packed and great value compared to the Pioneer DJ club standard gear. Can't wait to get SC5000s to fully unlock the potential. I would recommend this to anyone needing a Pro 4 channel mixer.
Great build quality, brilliant effects and the filters are really nice to use. Very easy to transition to the from a Pioneer and the sound fo the effects is superior.
The X1800 is a great mixer. Familiar to any user coming over from the competitors units but filled with extras that enhance the experience and ease of use. Especially when used in line with the sc5000 or sc5000M.However as mentioned in my SC5000 review, Denon are letting themselves down with the build quality of their units. Since changing my rider less than 2 months ago i have had a replacement X1800 and 3 replacement SC5000s. Denons customer service has been brilliant but that amount of unreliability is no good in the DJ booth
I already tested it before my purchase and I'm pretty much in love with it.It has lots of value for a more than correct price.The 2 usb connectors really makes my life more easy, now I'm able to connect both my Traktor DJ laptop and my Live video stream computer directly to the mixer.I even connected my MOTU audio interface for using Ableton Live from my laptop simultaeniously.I was however a bit disapointed about two issues from the newly bought X11800 Prime Mixer I did not noticed tesing the one from a friend.1. there are several dust particles (I didn't counted them but at I noticed least 5 of them) underneith the shiny black stripes on the left and right side of the mixer.2. The dot on top of the potmeters of all channels it not in the middle but slightly ...
