And we only use VetIQ maximum strength hip and Joint chews, because she is a small dog we kept her a half one every other day so a 90 count last us for half a year if not longer if she's really having trouble with Movement we will give her a whole one every other day. We order Ours from Amazon and they've always come fresh and she tolerates it well she loves the flavor looks forward to her treats. And we only give her Frontline Flea and Tick drops which she tolerates very well. She takes this maximum strength hip and joint treat for movement. Since giving her this she's like a puppy again she may need help getting up on the couch sometimes but for the most part she can get up the stairs like a puppy and the heartworm medicine she does well with is called Inceptor you can get from a vet. And the ONLY TREATS SHE LIKES PERIOD IS DENTALLIFE BY PURINA THE SPONGY ONES.. If your on the fence, I would recommend trying these treats for a finicky eater and I order them from Amazon I get small/medium for a great price and they ship them on auto-ship, Especially if your dog has allergies and or skin issues like my dog has! I wouldn't recommend any other dog treats because I've tried them and there's a lot of them out there! The nightly ritual in our house is our little (older) guy getting one of these as I make my nighttime tea. He knows when I start making my tea to go sit under his “treat cabinet” to wait, kind of impatiently, for his Dentalife “chewy”-as he knows it by. Immediately after I hand it to him he runs for the couch. He was once able to jump up on the couch on his own, but now I give him an assist by lifting him up as he faux-jumps, his hind legs pushing hard. These have natural active ingredients that actually help treat their bad breath instead of just covering/masking it which we love. My in-laws are huge fans of greenies which are crazy expensive and just don't work. Their two lab's breath always smells bad even after consistent daily use of the greenies. I am so impressed with these dental bones! My dogs had tartar build up on their teeth that I've tried to brush off with their toothbrush and toothpaste and it was like it was cemented on their teeth. I was thinking I was going to have to schedule dental cleanings for all of them, I have 5 dogs. Well, let me tell you these bones work and they work fast and great! My dogs teeth look amazing! Great overall for your dog.

These are great. My dog loves them, so I love them. A lot of the other oral chews/breath mints upset her stomach, and some I don’t trust the ingredients, but I’ve given her these for a long time and I trust them for her. I don’t like giving my dog any people food or any kind of treats, (always want to have weight management) but give her these. I cut them up into pieces so they last longer. They help her breath so if you give full amount I’m sure it works wonders for their breath. I always read ingredients in any food product, human or dog food, and I trust the ingredients in these. Give your dog these over other breath mints/oral care chews. I’m picky and only use these-her only treat.

My dog loves them; helps with tartar

After trying many different brands, I found one that my picky dog actually loves. She actually begs for them. She weighs 60lbs so I buy her the large size. These seem to help reduce tartar in addition to brushing...which I am not the best at doing. They also help freshen her breath. My dog tends to have a sensitive tummy. These don't cause her to vomit like some other brands. However, they do cause her to have a little gas...tolerable though.

Never Actually 21 Chews Per Package!!

I buy these chews for my 3 dogs, specifically because they are supposed to have exactly 21 chews per package - this way it will last me a full week giving each dog 1 chew per day. Right?? Wrong! The package ALWAYS only has 19-20 chews per package, which leaves at least one of my dogs not getting their chew on the last day of the week. This is extremely inconvenient!! This has happened the last FIVE TIMES I have purchased this product, so there is definitely some kind of manufacturing issue. I give two stars because my dogs do seem to like the product and my vet has given me compliments on how great my three dogs' teeth look - but the false advertising on the package is frustrating for someone on a strict budget.

Removes toughest plaque

My husky boys teeth were terrible with a build up of plaque and terrible bad breath. I tried everything (he hates toothpaste or gels) and was running out of options and with vet teeth cleaning being so expensive a friend recommended this product. She said to buy the larger ones as they make the dog chew more and the treats are sticky which makes the plaque come off easier. Well I was sceptical to be honest but wow the difference is amazing. It takes a few treats to notice the difference but they do work. The staining on his teeth is very faint, hardly any plaque to see and his breath is not smelly. I now give these to both my dogs once a week they are brilliant. Saved me a vet visit and saved my dog doing through a dental clean.

Treat for the Treats

I have a CGC Therapy dog, Mona. She has been visiting schools, hospitals and people in need for over 10 years. Needless to say, she has consumed A LOT of treats over the years. I have been giving her a Dentalife treat every night for all of those 10 years. Never has she had an oral problem or gum infection. The Dentalife treat, treats all of those OTHER treats, keeping her mouth and teeth in great shape. I buy them in bulk, nothing else will do.
