Tried this for the first time on a 3yr old labrador. She liked the taste but wasnt too sure about the brushing. Have done it 3 times now and she is liking it more each time. Great thick paste. Good value. Only problem is that you get clean teeth but stinky chicken breath for the day, so used with aquadent works a treat.
Our family pet is getting old, and needs some dental work, but due to existing heart and kidney issues it is no longer possible. This toothpaste is a good option for us when we travel or keep her in close quarters, as it neutralises the breath and helps to keep her teeth manageable.
We have tried other toothpastes, but Dentipet is the only toothpaste my dog likes
My 6mo pup recently decided the vanilla and mint flavoured toothpaste we bought her was not to her tastes, so after checking reviews on this paste, decided to give it a go! She seems to like the beef flavour and will happily lick it from her brush and tolerate us messing about with her mouth now. The jar is a little smaller than I was expecting, but after using it a few times, I think the paste will still last a fair while. Cannot speak for its effectiveness since I've only used it for a few weeks, but I'm happy that she no longer turns her nose up at me when I get out the toothbrush!
My much loved small terrier loves the taste of this toothpaste, so much so that now she is really enjoying to have her teeth cleaned. I'm -we're- very happy with this product. I would definitely recommend it.
My rescued greyhound is happy to have her teeth cleaned everyday with this product.
My cats tolerate it, and they have not had any reaction to this product. However, I don't like the fact that it's in a 'face cream' container instead of a tube (like human toothpaste). What this means is that you have to dip the toothbrush into the container each time, or use some other means of applying it to the brush - I use a spoon handle to paste it on, which is a bit of a hassle.
