I can't say enough good things about Beauty Affairs. I've been a loyal customer now for about three years and can't fault their delivery - it feels like I get VIP Express Post when I just make a regular order. I (now) do a lot of online shopping across the board (clothes, shoes, beauty, etc.) and Beauty Affairs stand out from every other vendor I have shopped with throughout COVID as fast, reliable, and essentially flawless in their supply chain when even the previously-good-ones have slowly fallen victim throughout 2021 to COVID disruptions and delays. Whatever they're doing, it works! I will only shop elsewhere for beauty, cosmetics, and perfume on the odd occasion they don't stock a brand I want, but apart from that, I say: MECCA, who? Sephora, what? ^.^

I have always loved the fast service of Beauty Affairs with free samples with my orders. Last month my shampoo bottle broke in the post and leaked everywhere. When I advised Beauty Affairs they sent a new bottle straight away free of charge. Unfortunately this order did not arrive so when I advised them of this Anna at Client Care sent me a new bottle straight away but along with this she also sent me the matching conditioner, and my favourite full cleanser to say sorry. I have not experienced such amazing customer service in a long time. I’ve always had amazing service from Beauty Affairs and will not buy my beauty products anywhere else

I had a very good experience with Lorena from customer support. I was querying the cost of Youngblood mineral makeup on live chat (excellent product by the way) of which I had bought 2. The cost of the item displayed for sale appeared less than the final checkout price. It turned out the sale price was for a particular color but this was unclear on the page. Lorena looked into the discrepancy immediately and after explaining the reason, offed to give me a refund on that particular sale to compensate for the confusion. She was polite and considerate throughout. It’s good to know that such a fabulous Aussie company has such lovely staff!

I’ve been wearing sunscreen everyday since I was about 17 years old, cleansed my face every night and also applied a hydrating moisturizer. I became very interested in skincare at such a young age due to being diagnosed as a teen with rosacea. I remember the Derm telling me that wearing sunscreen everyday was so important especially because the rosacea can become worse if I didn’t protect my skin. She also told me that people with fair complexions like my own are more susceptible to skin damage from the skin ļæ¼etc. I remember having sleepovers with my friends and applying my and telling them how important is was and they would laugh it off etc Now being 34, I have the same friends who would ignore me now asking for advice on their dark spots, fine lines etc Of course ...Ā MoreI’ve been wearing sunscreen everyday since I was about 17 years old, cleansed my face every night and also applied a hydrating moisturizer. I got a sample of this Dermalogica SPF 30 and I do like the texture and how it almost acts as a primer. Now they’re are so many different types of sunscreens to choose from. To all the teen- early 20s reading this wear Sunscreen everyday! I know after a late night the last thing you want to do is remove your makeup and apply a moisturizer. However every night that you sleep in your makeup your skin ages one week! A super simple combination SPF moisturizer like I used was so easy and I promise you won’t regret it. Even if your in your 30s, 40s, 60s it’s never too late to protect your skin!

Best mineral sunscreen
18 August 2022

I started looking for a new sunscreen (mineral) because chemical sunscreens were making my skin break out. This is it. It has a nice moisturizing (not too greasy) feel, and doesn’t leave too shiny of a finish (it is not matte). The light fragrance is what makes me love it and it immediately makes me feel I’m wearing a product from a luxury department store or getting a treatment at a spa.If you use the amount you are supposed to use for sun protection, it does leave a faint white cast in some places. Regardless, this is the very best I have found for mineral, when considering all elements.I have found products that’s work fantastic with this sunscreen- giving it holy grail status all around.La roche posay 50spf tinted mineral sunscreen (choose your best match, ...Ā MoreI started looking for a new sunscreen (mineral) because chemical sunscreens were making my skin break out. Regardless, this is the very best I have found for mineral, when considering all elements.I have found products that’s work fantastic with this sunscreen- giving it holy grail status all around.La roche posay 50spf tinted mineral sunscreen (choose your best match, there is a range of tints available)- this product is almost too pigmented on its own and applies with so much coverage it’s like a mask- however - MIX A DAB OF THIS with the dermalogica mineral sunscreen and you will get the PERFECT shade match and there will be no more white cast and it looks like your natural complexion but better (uneven skin tone disappears yet it looks like your natural skin).Laura Mercier tinted blush - this products applied well on top of the sunscreen and ā€œtaps inā€ to the skin without disturbing the spf. I use ā€˜Provence’ which is a bit terracotta and can pass off as a brontour rather than only as a product for the cheeks . I am very fair however so if you have a deeper complexion I’m not sure of the best shade from this line.I never write reviews but everyone who wears mineral sunscreen needs to know about these products and how they work fabulously together.

Best mineral sunscreen, hands-down.
27 February 2023

I had been using a 10 SPF moisturizer for the longest time (too low SPF, I know) and looked to switch products for actual protection. I found my skin couldn't tolerate the compounds in chemical sunscreen with higher SPF. With mineral sunscreens, I found options that couldn't blend, gave a white cast even on fair skin, didn't wash off easily so my face never felt clean, and smelled like I was headed to the beach! Not at all what I wanted in a daily face sunscreen.Invisible Physical Defense Mineral Sunscreen is the complete opposite. It applies beautifully with no white cast, lasts all day, washes off easy, and has a light, refreshing scent. It's perfect for sensitive skin and does not cause breakouts.

Disappointing
29 June 2022

I've been trying to give this a fair shot, but I'm so disappointed with it. Doesn't wear at all under even lightweight foundation or translucent powder, separates immediately and looks horrible. Little better when used with a primer, but still looks patchy. Clogs my pores daily and has a slight white caste, and it's only 30+?? Terrible waste of money, the only good thing is it won't irritate your eyes at all..but at this price point you definitely expect better!! Can't wait till it's gone so I can try something hassle-free.

I wear this daily!
7 April 2023

This is a GREAT physical sunscreen. It blends in surprisingly well, leaving essentially no white cast if you have the patience to rub it in properly. Sadly, I have been deficient in my SPF use for years because of issues with smell, white cast, and overall greasy feeling on the face. I have not had any of these problems with this sunscreen. I have been wearing it every single day since it arrived. This sunscreen also protects against blue light, so I have even been wearing it to work even though I’m inside all day and it’s dark on my way to and from work.

The invisible physical defense mineral
11 May 2023

The invisible physical defense mineral sunscreen spf30 is the epitome of the saying "a little goes a long way"! It takes only the smallest amount of this to get full face and neck coverage. It does leave a bit of a greasy feeling right after application, but if you let it dry about 5 minutes or so it makes a significant difference. Very lightweight feel, overall my skin has shown noticeable improvement using the full skin care system, including wearing this mineral sunscreen daily.

Too thick and not suitable for my sensitive skin

It stung my eyes even when I tested the sample and make my skin back to redness and sensitive. The texture is too thick and hard to apply. I had to spray toner to blend with it for easy application. Not yet finished a tube but I have to stopped using it and back to my old sunblock super sensitive shield. Sadly this was discontinued by dermalogica followed by the essential cleanser that I loved the most. Been using dermalogica skincare since I was 14. Over 30 years been using dermalogica but they keep on discontinued some best selling products. I feel like being pushed away to other brands for substitution.
