Dermalogica Multivitamin Power Recovery Masque 75 ml

I can't say enough good things about Beauty Affairs. I've been a loyal customer now for about three years and can't fault their delivery - it feels like I get VIP Express Post when I just make a regular order. I (now) do a lot of online shopping across the board (clothes, shoes, beauty, etc.) and Beauty Affairs stand out from every other vendor I have shopped with throughout COVID as fast, reliable, and essentially flawless in their supply chain when even the previously-good-ones have slowly fallen victim throughout 2021 to COVID disruptions and delays. Whatever they're doing, it works! I will only shop elsewhere for beauty, cosmetics, and perfume on the odd occasion they don't stock a brand I want, but apart from that, I say: MECCA, who? Sephora, what? ^.^

I have recently been using the Dermalogica Multivitamin Power Recovery Mask on my face. I have mostly dry skin, but I don’t always love skin masks because of their textures. Some feel like a chore to keep on for several minutes. This mask is good for me because it goes on like a cross between a rich mask, but closer to a rich cream. While waiting 15 minutes to rinse, my skin felt completely normal, as opposed to having a strange texture sitting on my face. I don’t mind the subtle scent and even though I like pleasant fragrance, I prefer not to put synthetic fragrance on my face, so I’m glad this doesn’t contain any. Best of the Best!

I use a lot of Dermalogica products, but this is by far my favorite! I don’t know what it is exactly, but this works exceptionally well on my skin. I’m 45, with combination skin, but I live in the high desert, so it’s pretty dry most of the time. I hate to admit it, but even at this age, I still can’t help myself from picking at the littlest imperfection on my face. The outcome is always the same: much worse, than had I left it alone. I have started to use this masque as a spot treatment at night, (sometimes even applying it throughout the day) and have been astonished by the results. What starts off as a small pimple, but then is irritated enough by my incessant picking changes to a red, sometimes scabbed over mark. I often apply it several times during the course of an evening and wake up to near perfect skin. I also use it as an all over masque the way it’s intended, having excellent results every time. If you’re on the fence, try it as a rewards or sample size, I don’t think you will be disappointed.

I like this mask, although I’ll explain why it isn’t a top favorite for me in this review.First off, I’m surprised some people don’t like the smell. It’s actually a product that smells shockingly neutral to me - yes, I smell something, but it’s not offensive. This product doesn’t have the word “fragrance” which is great news for those with allergies! Although there are some ingredients that contribute to scent. It smells more herbal than paint-like to my nose.The price is fair to me. It’s a 2.5 oz container, which will last for quite a while!As for usage, I love how easy this is to apply. It can be quite nice to only fuss with a strong product once a week and yet see results!My minor critiques are actually related to that last point. I would love to know what percent of actives I’m using on my skin! Some people don’t care to know this, and that’s just fine - but I know a good portion of the skincare community these days does need such disclosure. It helps us understand what’s going on better.In addition, and I’m not sure if this is on Dermalogica or a miscommunication with Sephora, but it does not contain retinol. It contains a retinol ester instead. In fact, it doesn’t contain vitamin c; ascorbyl glucoside is an ester of vitamin c.These could be minor details to some, especially given that this product is more about the combination of ingredients that lead to results vs the ordinary style of “one ingredient highlights”. But I’m the type of person who likes accuracy and clarity in product descriptions.Overall, four stars. It’s well done. Gifted by Dermalogica.

Love for my dry, mid-30s skin

Dermalogica is one of my favorite brands at Sephora, and I haven’t tried a product that’s let me down. This recovery mask is so exception. If you have dry skin or are in your mid thirties plus like me, this is a great mask for those days your skin is feeling dry, dull, or sensitive from the cold weather. I cleanse, put in a generous layer and let it sit for about 10-15 minutes. It is a very thick cream that spreads easily, and there is no beads or other physical exfoliation components. I also put some on my lips when they are dry. Upon wash off, my skin is brighter, smooth, and so moisturized. My lips also feel amazing, especially when they are chapped and need some extra tlc. Pleasantly Surprised!

This is great!! The recovery mask is a shot of vitamins on my skin making it appear smoother and more even toned, hydrated and refreshed. I apply the mask once or twice a week for about 10 minutes in the evening before bed. I apply a rich moisturizer after. My skin appears plump and glowing in the morning. I have sensitive skin and this is non-irritating. I purchased the sample size to try it out and am purchasing the full size next. I'm really pleased with Dermalogica products. They've always benefited my skin through my acne years and now my 'aging' years. :)

This mask is legit! I bought it on a whim after putting a bit on my hand in the store & noticing how soft it made my skin. I am so glad I took the risk because this mask has been amazing for my dehydrated skin! It’s honestly like Botox for my forehead since it plumps up my dehydration lines. It’s made the condition of my skin better- definitely less thirsty, overall more glowy. It does smell funky but it’s well worth it to me. If you’re really sensitive to scents, you may want to skip this one, or at least try it in the store first. This is my first dermalogica product & I’m really impressed!

Truly An Amazing Masque With Incredible Results

I have been using Dermalogica Products for 20+ years and discovered the Multivitamin Recovery Masque over 10 years ago and I've been using it ever since. I have very sensitive skin and was going through a difficult time with breakouts in my 30's. A dermatologist, in short, told me that my breakouts actually looked like an allergic reaction to the products I had been using ( I had a bumpy red rash all over my face that I thought was adult acne ).She started me off with the Dermalogica "Essential Calming Cleanser" and "Active Moist Face Cream". “Liquid Gold” Mask - My forever go-to mask for that glowing look

I’m 37 w/ combination skin. Liquid gold in my opinion. Using this mask makes my skin glow longer than any product ever used. Needless to say, with the best results I’ve ever had was from this mask. After the first time I used this after cleansing and exfoliating…it was incredible. However, the most gorgeous my skin ever looked was use after a Dermalogica facial and/or microdermabrasion treatment by my Dermalogica certified esthetician. My skin was glowing more than ever. SO smooth and young looking. The most life changing product for my face. Love Dermalogica but mostly this line and all of its products!!!
