Dermalogica's products have always been a hit or miss for me. Despite so many great ingredients in their formulations, somehow the end result often doesn't turn out as expected. I'm glad to say that this product is one of the exceptions! Is the few seconds 'warming' sensation when you apply this a bit gimmicky? I used to think so at first, but as I've continued to use it, I'm starting to think this is the one quality that sets this one apart from so many other great exfoliators I've tried, heat helping to open up pores and all that. And of course the ingredients working in these open pores have to be the part too and these definitely are...Retinol, AHA's, BHA's and some good botanicals. The exfoliating granules are finely milled, the Licorice and Vitamin C (combined with the acids) give a fantastic brightening effect, and most importantly my skin feels perfectly smooth afterwards. I love how you're always in control with the amount of exfoliation, on dry skin it works most intensely, but add water if you wish to make it less intense, and the more water you add, the less it will be. Just over 1 minute of gently working this into my skin and I'm done, and I only use a small amount, you don't need lots as you do with so many other scrubs. I really like the floral/herbal fragrance of this product and despite the oily consistency of it, I find it adds a little bit of hydration into my skin which sometimes (being oily/combination) is just about all the hydration I need. There is a slight residue, but once I've towel dried my face it all but disappears. Pricey yes, but as I mentioned a little goes a long way, so be expecting this to last longer than you expected! I think I've just discovered my new HG scrub. -- My Top 10 Beauty Must-Haves

I really like this product a lot. Every time i try something new i always come back to it. I like that it is chemical and physical exfoliant. Multi effective ingredients vitamin a, c, e, lactic salicylic Acid, etc. I use Dermalogica in my treatment room and this is a great product. However i would be careful if you have dry or sensitive skin. It evens out my skin tone and clears out my pores. I recommend! Only use 1-2 week to begin with then gradually increase to 2-3 times. But you dont want to exfoliate too aggressively, dont do it every day bc that can lead to other problems. Be gentle with your skin!

Delivers amazing results!

Found my new favourite!
26 August 2022

I have been using the DDG wipes, but I wanted to have something for when I want to exfoliate in the shower rather than having to do the wipes. I tried a couple of other products over the last 6mths - the Dermalogica daily exfoliant was barely exfoliating. Their hydro masque exfoliant was a disappointment (although the mini sample I had received was amazing). But this one is a winner!! It is very effective and leaves my skin super smooth. I actually look forward to using it! It does appear to have an oil base, so some might feel that it leaves your skin slightly oily, but it’s perfect for me - I don’t end up with that dry tight feeling before I the onto the moisturiser. I don’t love the mild clove smell, but it doesn’t bother me too much - especially as this does ... MoreI have been using the DDG wipes, but I wanted to have something for when I want to exfoliate in the shower rather than having to do the wipes. Great Exfoliator- Try It!
13 January 2023

This is fantastic. Smells great, looks great, feels great and most importantly... it works! I was having dull, flaky, uneven skin due to the colder weather and lots of central heating. Even after the first use I noticed a huge improvement in the appearance and feel of my skin. After just 2 uses my skin is looking and feeling much more radiant and refined and seems to be retaining moisture levels better. The warmth of the exfoliant is also really nice and adds a bit of extra luxury to my shower routine. You don't (and shouldn't) need to use it everyday, but twice a week seems to be perfect. Doesn't leave your skin feeling dried out like some exfoliators can. This is my new favourite exfoliator. Try it!!

I have used this for about a year and it's a good intense scrub, it really does warm up very quickly. I find it's too harsh to use frequently and don't make the same mistake I did by using other retinol products around the same time - make sure you give a break between use of this product and other very active products. Holy Grail Exfoliating Mask
8 April 2023

This is by far the best exfoliating mask I’ve ever tried. Sounds hyperbolic - I know. But this is my key to flawless makeup application before an event/regular weekly mask. To achieve baby smooth skin, double cleanse, dermaplane, and then gently apply multivitamin thermafoliant with water and gentle massaging. Follow with a super nourishing serum and moisturizer… feels like you’ve gotten a facial. Highly recommend.

Love it
5 May 2023

I have purchased this twice and absolutely love it. It’s a warming feeling on my skin. I use two-three times a week. Sometimes I used without wetting skin beforehand for a more ínstense clean. My skin is so smooth afterwards. I do have sensitive skin, but I haven’t had any adverse affects by it. I also have rosacea and it hasn’t caused any flare ups. I love this product and will purchase again and again

Warming
21 July 2022

I wanted the Multivitamin Power Recovery Masque; but after asking in the store and talking to 2 different people (which took them about 1/2 hr. to "check,") was told to order this Multivitamin Thermafoliant instead as they no longer HAVE the other masque. I realized once I got home and checked on-line, this was not the case; but since I had this one coming to me via mail, decided to try it. Dermalogica is a good line; and although this mask did warm my face, considering the hefty price, it's certainly no better than the Biore 6 individually contained masks in foil packets which I've used in the past. Prefer brick-and-mortar stores soooo much more; but anytime I order at the store, it always seems to be such a hassle.
