But really I wanted to come here and give thanks and my 5 stars to Beauty Affairs! In this current climate (covid) it’s been tough.... I’m a mum of three with a small baby and a child with special needs who as anyone in NSW would know r home doing school.... shops aren’t open anyway and I have been in real need of a “glow up” Beauty Affairs helped me! How? First off, they have great customer service! They’re very friendly and get back to you straight away (given it is within working hours) the pack it and send it and I honestly receive it the next morning! Bad experience

I was purchasing this product a week ago. I ordered product for the first time through this website.The Delivery took 4 days instead of 2 (how web site said). When it’s arrived , it was used product. Beatriz said me to return this product, which I did. Spend my time for the company mistake. They did not return me my money. And she said that ordered me a new one( without to ask me if I want to wait 4 more days for the next delivery). And now it have been one week I without the cleaning gel, and I need to wait 2 more days for delivery. I’m really disappointed of the service. And will never order here. That’s the shame. Because I actually loved the Dermalogica products. I have been used it for 3 years. But ordered previous through Amazon. And it was a good quality, ... MoreI was purchasing this product a week ago. Best cleanser ever!

I’ve used Special Cleansing Gel. Recently I ran out and decided to just pick up a drug store brand. First thoughts on this were “hmmm…not too bad”. Continued to use into a third week when I started to develop a little acne (which I rarely have) and I noticed my skin just wasn’t looking as bright and healthy. I immediately ordered the Special Cleansing Gel. Dermalogica has fast shipping and in no time I was back using my favorite cleanser. A month or so has gone by and my skin is looking bright and healthy again with no break outs. There is that saying “if it isn’t broke don’t fix it”. This is indeed the best skin cleanser!

I have been a Dermalogica

I have been a Dermalogica fan for years and there was only once I had to return the Special Cleansing Gel purchased from Amazon because it gave me this itchy skin rash with swallow eye lids and red dry itchy patches on my neck (I wash my face and neck with it). This rash happened again this time with the purchase of refill from the Dermalogica site. It took me a while to realize it was this product that made me feel miserable after ruling out all other possible causes. As soon as I stopped using it, my skin started to recover. It was a nightmare going through this painful experience. I am never using Dermalogica Special Cleasing Gel again.

I've used the special cleansing gel for a good 20 years now but now I know that it's what's been breaking out for the last several years since they changed the ingredients with put a peeeeep! FYI COCONUT IS NOT "SOOO GOOD FOR EVERYTHING" as a matter of fact it's a downright it's a known ALLERGEN and it's now literally IMPOSSIBLE to find skincare without it. particularly facewash and shampoo and other non-soap soaps...literally: Trader Joe's products are all required to list coconut-based ingredients with their other various allergen, right between peanuts, milk, and soy but its somehow literally in EVERY FACEWASH ON PLANET FRIGGING EARTH? sorry for my rant but the whole reason I used dermalogica was because they had just a few things I could ... MoreI'm absolutely livid! LOVE the Special Cleanising Gel

I've been using the Special Cleansing Gel for years, like at least 10 years now. I have tried lots of other products with my combination, breakout prone skin and I keep coming back to this cleanser as it does not irritate my skin or make it worse. It never dries it out, it just does a nice gentle job of cleansing and refreshing and leaves my skin soft and smooth, almost taught if I don't put any other product on afterwards...but I always follow up with the Multi-Active toner which is another staple I can't live without. It has a very subtle pleasant smell which I love, kind of spa like, maybe its' the lavender or the mint balm? I do love lavender. My first cleanser ever!

I spent 22 years of my life without a skincare routine! The only reason I got into it was because of a big misunderstanding with an esthetic clinic!! I started doing monthly facials and discovered how amazing it felt taking care of my skin. The esthetic center recommended me Dermalogica and using I immediately knew that this was going to be the brand I will wear forever!!!!Although I never really had any other products to compare prior... Dermalogica helped me set the bar SUPER high and everything else feels cheap and wrong hahaha. Really the best first cleanser (and brand) I could've asked for!!! I love this brand so much

Recently picked this up again after having reached 30 and after having tried many different brands over the years. Well no more, I have gone back to this beloved Cult-Classic after trialing it again and I must say I truly forgot how much I actually liked this cleanser. At the end of the day it just a cleansing gel and you certainly don't need to fork out this much for a cleanser, but it is so much more than just an average face wash from your local chemist or supermarket. The difference is in the formula and performance itself. Use it with the fingertips, a yellow cellulose facial cleansing sponge, The Dermalogica Face Brush or Sponge Cloth. The scent is surprisingly refreshing, light and clean, a surprise since Dermalogica does use a lot of Aromatherapy Essential Oils which might not be for everyone. Even though it is not advertised as a make-up remover I have found this water-soluble formula can actually remove a great deal of make-up on its own WITHOUT the PreCleanse Cleansing Oil... so experiment and see how you go. It's portable, great to use in the shower or at the basin and as for it's reputation, it is a BELOVED, well-known, industry staple favourite among skin care fanatics, facialists, therapists, Beauty Bloggers, Beauty Gurus etc...I use this ONLY at night after using the PreCleanse as I personally believe you don't need to do a thorough cleanse in the morning, if you do use this in the morning then use half of the amount you would use in the evening, it will save you $$ down the line.. This cleanser works beautifully in soft or Hard water and never EVER leaves my skin feeling stripped, dry, taut, parched or gagging for moisturiser. It truly is simply the most perfect facial cleanser I have ever used and I am not exaggerating. A true pleasure to use. I am now never without a bottle and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who wants fuss-free gentle but thorough cleansing. Thank you!

Thankful

I’ve been looking for products for my oily skin. Now I’ve only used it once so far and omg this is what I needed. I was tired of looking like a glazed donut by noon. My skin is so oily I’d be wiping it or even just rinsing with water to remove the shine throughout my work shift. I used the special cleansing gel only once and my skin looks amazing! A little oily on my eyelids but nothing like it was. It feels soft and moisturized. I’m excited to continue use and include other products. The only negative thing is Dermalogica products are on the pricey side.

The trouble with most cleansers

The trouble with most cleansers for me is my skin is oily, and they don't clean the grease off my face. I wash my face twice with the special cleansing gel (as recommended), and in the last two weeks my skin has cleared in the T-zone like I've never seen before. For decades I've had little white bumps in my chin crease and trouble with blackheads on my nose. They are disappearing! I love the gentle scent. It makes me feel like I'm treating myself to facial when I'm just washing my face. I don't feel dry at all, but I follow up with active moist moisturizing cream. The duo is unbeatable.
