DermaScar Ultra C Gel 15g DermaScar ULTRA C is an advanced, topical silicone gel that is transparent, dries quickly and helps maintain the skins moisture balance,while aiding the management of scarred skin surfaces resulting from surgery, burns and other injuries. The advanced silicone gel contains theantioxidant Vitamin C. DermaScar ULTRA C lightens and fades the appearance of scars. DermaScar ULTRA C flattens, softens and smooths scars, relieves the itching and discomfort of scars, as well as reducing the discolouration associated with scars. DermaScar ULTRA C is easily applied to all areas of the skin, including the face, joints and flexures and drie s rapidly to form an individual sheet. DermaScar ULTRA C was developed using the same basic long chain polymers as topical silicone gel sheeting, but is available in a tube. It contains polysiloxane and 1% Vita min C ester Directions Apply DermaScar twice daily in the morning and evening. DermaScar must be applied to dry, intact skin. If you have a scar from surgery, check that the wound has healed first before applying DermaScar. This is typically 10 to 14 days after surgery. Before applying DermaScar clean the area first with mild soap and water and then pat dry. Place a pea-size amount of gel at the tip of the scar and gently spread thinly over the affected area. A pea-size amount is enough to cover a 12cm scar. Allow the gel to dry for 1 to 2 minutes. Once dry, DermaScar may be covered with cosmetics or sunscreen.
