Derwent Drawing Pencils are wax based that have a soft creamy texture and provides a smooth laydown. The highly lightfast pencils are produced with quality pigments that provide a velvety finish. They are not as soft as the Derwent Water-Soluble Pencil range and not as hard as regular colour pencils. This colour palette lends itself to wildlife drawings and nature studies.
