They do all of this whilst maintaining the brands well-known quality, with each pencil containing high quality, rich, vibrant pigments running throughout each colour. Once you've created your masterpiece, you can mix these with water to create a stunning painting. The tip can also be used like a kind of "watercolour pan", providing greater control of not only the depth, but also tone of colour. The versatility doesn't end there, as they can also be used dry, similar to a "standard" colour pencil. Their soft smooth texture easily blends & layers, even without the use of any further additional water or mediums. Even the hexagonal shape of their body is ergonomically designed for ease of use. Although outwardly similar to their Inktense counterpart, there are notable differences. When mixed, the colours are much more subtle & translucent. Non-permanent, able to be reactivated simply with water after drying, to continue or alter work as needed.
