I love descent ski clothing its beautiful and functional! I like buying my clothing form Peter Glenn, the are prompt with shipments and pack items very well. I have never had any issues with them. I will continue to buy from them when Im looking for more ski clothing !

These snow pants have very nice soft material and fit good but the rise is a little low for me. I ordered a size 10 and I am 5'8" tall and 130 lbs. The thing I hated were the long wide shiny silver zippers on the back pockets and the downward angle of the pockets with the ugly zippers that really stand out. I think they ruin the look of otherwise very nice looking pants. Very unflattering. There wasn't a back view photo of the pants on the site but the description does say the pants have Metaluxe shiny zippers. If I had seen a photo of the back of the pants, I would not have ordered. For the price of these pants, they would have to be perfect for me and they are not.

I've tried tons of ski pants and this is the first pair that is a true slim fit but still gives you tons of space to move around in!! I usually wear pants in size 4 or 27/28 and got a size 10 in these because I want to wear layers underneath. And omg, let me just say that they fit extremely well and are not the least bit bulky like other ski pants are. The stud details are also very fashionable - I totally see myself wearing them to walk around in the city, not just on the slopes! Finally, the 4-way stretch material lives up to its claim - I can move around in them DESPITE the super slim fit! great fit! True to size, and I felt like a ski bunny is these form fitting ski pants. The only reason I decided not to keep them was because there were no pockets!
These would be good if they were actually made to size. They run very small even with the stretch they have. I ordered a size 16 where I normally wear a 14. I got them over my hips but there was no way I could even attempt to button them. These would be amazing if they were made to size. The cut is great and they are very well made but just not for me. I had to return them.
These pants lasted less than two seasons. The fabric by the boot area has holes in it from normal wear. I'm not even sure how the damage to the fabric happened. I expected a lot more for the price and brand. My Spyder pants lasted years longer! I'm in the process of contacting Descente directly to see if this is covered under their manufacture's warranty.
I love the style of the Descente Selene Ski Pant, particularly because they are very fitted. I have a pair in red, white and black. I ordered another black pair because the one I have was getting a lot use as I ski 100+ days a year. Typically I wear a size 4 but the 4 I received was a bit too big overall and didn't have the nice fitted look that I like. I tried a size 2 but couldn't get them buttoned at the waist. The rest of the fit was ok. So, somehow I seem to be between a 2 and a 4. Not sure why the sizing has changed since I bought a pair last year.
Ever since I have worn these ski pants I received compliments from women wanting to know who makes them and where did I buy them. My only comment is they are a little long but I turn them under just a little and no one can tell. An excellent purchase.
The item is a great fit, which has always been difficult for me having a thicker athletic build. There's lots of room to move with the four way stretch, without them being baggy. They are true to size to the regular pants sizing. I wore them a few times on the coldest of winter days and was always warm enough.
