I was looking to upgrade my desk and was targeting a desk that could cater for my weight requirements and how it needs to be really sturdy. It took me around 45 min to put the desk together and about 2 hours for cable management ( I take this part seriously! ).The only challenge i faced was the cable management. The power connector cables and main controller took a bit of time to get in the right position and allow space for other cables. I do have alot of cables including XLR audio cables to channel in. I mounted my Thunderbolt 3 dock, Philip Hues light switch , and Guitar preamp under the desk with plenty of space to have the drawer, controller and leg room.When rising or lowering it is very quietThe desk is supporting easily 60- 70kgs including my 49 inch monitor, Ergotron monitor arm, Gaming PC, Speakers x2 and clamp stands , Microphone boom arm.Note - Be careful with Sharpe edged objects on the desk top, use a drill for Drawer . The Hidden controller does not fit the pre mount drill holes for the Default controller. You will need to drill these yourself.

The ‘natural edge’ is actually manmade, yet still beautiful. They are coved by the metal bracket. What this means is that the Control Box cannot be mounted (with screws) in this perfectly out of the way place. What Desky has done to compensate, is include two other possible mounting locations for the Control Box with predrilled holes: one in front of the Crossbars, the other behind them. These options are not mentioned anywhere.If I positioned the Control Box in front of the Crossbars, my knees would constantly hit the Box when in a seated position. I didn’t much like that idea, so tried to mount it behind the Crossbars. Sadly, if you have also bought a Cable and Power Channel like I have done, this very useful and ascetically pleasing accessory inhibits the mounting in this position.One other solution suggested was to put the Control Box within the Cable and Power Channel. Doing this would have required me to use both Cable Extensions to power the legs, and thus the Cable and Power Channel would fill up very quickly, and I'd be fighting the cables from there on. I didn't want to do this.My solution, was to use a number of black cable ties to mount the Control Box where I imagined it going in the first place - between the Crossbars. This works nicely, and won’t be noticed, but it was a significant annoyance to discover this and have to work out a solution.Having done all this, I was excited to finally set up my computer. Annoyingly, this also did not go smoothly, as I have detailed in my seperate review for the Cable and Power Channel.The desk height Controller works beautifully, but is a bit floppy, even though I’ve ******* the screws in as tight as I dare.Finally, the Pheasantwood is so beautiful, I would love to be able to purchase an extra piece at a much smaller size - to cover my filing cabinet. Ultimately, my new printer (on order) will go here, but it would be nice for it to all go together. Desky does not offer this though I am all ears if they do in the future.For those thinking that one could buy a bigger desk and cut it down to size, having a spare piece… I’m glad I didn’t. The Wood has been so well prepared (with many predrilled holes etc) you’d be compromising a lot, not to mention the finish. So I look to Desky, maybe they can tell me their wood supplier?

I was on the fence about a sit stand desk for awhile now and now I know I couldn't go back. I use all 4 height setting almost everyday.As for the tabletop I'll say that because of the nature of this surface means that to maintain its rustic textured feel that it can't have to much of coating on top as that would ruin the feel. Just be aware of this. If you sometimes put your keys, phone without case, even if your pc is planed to be on it or have other equipment on it then I would implore you to look for a smoother surface. Even rubber feet don't solve everything, as that's what got me :(It arrived super quick even over Christmas but unfortunately there was a very minor damage that just made it though the box but its on the very edge, not worth all the hassle of ... Yes if you hit it it'll stop pretty easy but if for example you are under it working, music on and it comes down on you might not be able to hit it and it take quite a bit of force for it to stop

Took the plunge and ordered the whole kit (desky dual, integrated cable, under desk drawer and heavy-duty monitor arm) during EOFY sale. Was crossing my fingers and hope that after all the reviews that have been done, I can go with this trusted brand. I was not wrong. Delivery took 2 weeks but after I setup everything, I'm definitely happy and impressed. The stability of the table (no wobbling) is already a good sign and motor at both side of the table ensure a consistent up and down and with my heavy tower PC on one side, there's no trouble to lift it up and down. I have to give the integrated cable management a shoutout. I love it and IMO, you should definitely get it to ensure cable mess underneath the table. When I finished my renovations in my office and finally got around to setting it up it was fairly easy. The legs and sturdiness of the desk is great like wise with the quality of these items along with the cable tray and power boards. My back has been so much better with being able to stand or walk on my treadmill for a few hours each day, the functionality of the desk is fantastic. I just wish they had an option to customise the colour of the controller or the desk.HOWEVER the quality of these melamine tops are the ***** grade of melamine. When the second riser was received this wasn't even packaged properly and was damaged worse than the first one that was sent out. This was sent back and a refund was requested.Knowing all of this now I would have just purchased the frame itself along with the cable tray & PowerPoints. The monitor arm could have been purchased cheaper elsewhere and I would have had a table top done by a carpenter which would have been a cheaper option and better quality.

Ordering the desk was easy, I had fast delivery to Melbourne and construction was very straightforward thanks to the manual. I ordered 2 desks and the 2nd one was assembled in about 30 mins once I knew the process. The acacia top is nicely finished, as are the black metal components including the legs and cable/power channel. The whole thing feels sturdy and of good quality. A couple of things annoyed me about the experience which are at odd with this sort of premium product. The first is that after checking out and paying for my goods (consisting of 2x 1500x750 acacia desks, 2x integrated cable channels and 2x acacia under desk drawers) I was offered $50 off an under-desk draw.... which couldn't be applied as my transaction was already complete. The acacia top is nicely finished, as are the black metal components including the legs and cable/power channel. The whole thing feels sturdy and of good quality. A couple of things annoyed me about the experience which are at odd with this sort of premium product. The first is that after checking out and paying for my goods (consisting of 2x 1500x750 acacia desks, 2x integrated cable channels and 2x acacia under desk drawers) I was offered $50 off an under-desk draw.... which couldn't be applied as my transaction was already complete. The 2nd is related to the fact that the holes for the under-desk draw are not pre-drilled like all the others. This isn't a huge deal in itself for someone like me with a garage full of drill bits and drivers. But it opens people up to easily misaligning the position of the draw relative to the desktop and loosing that premium finish due to a slightly off angle drawer face (or one that sits too proud / too deep). Of the 2 drawers I purchased (for $249 each) the gap between the top of the drawer face and bottom of the bench top isn't straight. It's off by a small angle but annoys me every time I look at it. It's not something I can adjust as the holes in the drawer face are pre-drilled. Overall, a pretty nice quality product, but room for improvement given the premium price tag.

I had been eying of a Desky for some time, and with the increased working from home hours now being a permanent (and welcomed!) thing, I decided to make an investment in a quality sit/stand desk, and the Desky has not disappointed. After much deliberation, I opted for the bamboo top and 120cm as it’s wide enough and still provides options where I can place it around the house. An unlooked-for benefit when sitting is just how precise I can be with desk height, so it suits me perfectly. In 20+ years of working in an office I’ve never had that ability so didn’t appreciate just how beneficial it is for my lanky frame! With the price it is an investment, and one I have enjoyed and look forward to using for many years to come.
