With more and more of us sitting for hours at a time working from home or in the office, without the right comfortable chair, you can guarantee lower productivity and worse case, a trip to the osteopath. Desky’s Ergonomic Chair is not only a stylish addition to any workspace, but also delivers the support you need for optimum output. Its pneumatic cylinders and a synchro-tilt mechanism mean finding the perfect, healthy sitting position is effortless. So you can find the perfect height and also quickly alter the seat and back angles if you need to make adjustments when your body tells you it’s time to change or correct your posture. Sitting on soft, yet durable black or grey fabric, the waterfall edge of the seat and knee-tilt with tension control, lowering the seat from a point at the front (your feet remain firmly on the floor as your work), mean pressure on the back of your legs is a thing of the past. The mesh back is breathable and you can work in comfort for longer. Desky’s elegant, high-back chair comes with a slick black frame, charcoal mesh back and a black powder-coated aluminium base. Also available in white, a supportive headrest completes this simple ergonomic upgrade.

When I got the chair at first I was quite happy with. Over a few weeks the right arm became loose and would rattle a bit. It started separating. I contacted support and they told me I had mishandled the chair. They sent me a video on how I can fix. The video was not completely accurate but close enough that I was able to fix. If that was it I would have given it a better review. But the same issue continuously happens and I have to tighten the bolts around once a week so it does not get too bad. If the chair did not have this issue I would have given it 5/5 as the rest of the chair is great but the support has been abysmal. I was looking forward to buying a desk from here but after dealing with the support blaming me for a faulty product I will have to look elsewhere,

Recently I've decommissioned my Ikea after 7 years. I didn't realised it was uncomfortable until my friend point it out when he sat in it. So I was in the market for an ergonomic office chair shortly after and came across Desky. I've decided to go with this particular chair because the competitive price point compared to premium brand -Herman Miller and offer features that I valued such as arm rest and head rest. It came with three parts which took only about 5 minutes. Cushion is comfortable and adjustable lower back support. In conclusion, I think this is a versatile office chair where you can also use it as entertainment chair (hence the recline, head/arm rest). Good investment since I spent majority of my day sitting in front of my desk. Highly recommended!

I purchased this chair 5 months ago which has given me enough time to write this review. There was definitely a difference in how long I can stay focused while minimising the discomfort of sitting in the chair for long periods. The seat cushion is a great mix of durability and comfort. There is also enough room for me to sit with my legs crossed or to the side as I do not like sitting in the same position for long. The only downside is that it is a bit costly (I paid full price) and, if you're short like myself (5'2) your feet may not touch the ground comfortably. The lumbar support can only be adjusted forward/backwards but not up or down. If you wear headsets, your headset will rub against the mesh headrest. As I am still breaking in the cushion I still experience discomfort from the firmness. Otherwise, this is a great ergonomic chair with a simple minimalist design (besides that questionable compartment at the bottom of the chair) with just enough adjustments.

Good design but very *********************************

Just got my chair yesterday. The seat is a bit small but other than that the ergonomics were ok. The main issue is the material of the chair itself. It is mostly plastic, which is fine, but it's clearly breaking down already because it's sticky everywhere. You can see from the photos that it's sweating and slowly liquefying. It's most obvious from the armrests and it won't get off my hands no matter how many times I wash them. My clothes are all sticky as well. To ********************, when I contacted support I was told that it just needs wiping with soap. I do as they suggested but it didn't work. Then they even asked me to take a video of me doing it. Firstly, don't you think that's the first thing I tried? Secondly, why would I be lying about it? It's a $600 ... MoreJust got my chair yesterday. It's a $600 chair, I just want to be sitting on it and not have to deal with replacements or returns and whatnot. If wiping solved it, I would be happy as a clam. 10-year warranty doesn't mean much with this kind of support. Don't buy.

It's ok, but nothing fancy.

It's not a bad chair, it's just not as premium as I was hoping. The seat itself is quite comfortable, not too hard or soft on the buns. The back however doesn't suit me. The lumbar adjustment is just a piece of hard plastic and I find that even at its lowest setting it still punches me in the back. The whole thing creaks quite a bit too, it's mostly plastic. It's not what I was expecting for $700. If I had a do-over I would have just ****** it up and pulled the trigger on the premium chairs I was looking at like Herman Miller or Steelcase. They are a lot more expensive, but I think this chair is just a simple case of "You get what you pay for". LOVE my new chair

Finally!! A chair that delivers all my expectations!Functionality was my priority and, to be honest, after all the chairs I've tested, I was a bit sceptical when I placed the order. It's comfortable, my back (which I has recently been diagnosed as broken) feels sooo much better - thanks to the lumbar support adjustment. Unlike other chairs, there aren't any locked settings for the reclining back, which is awesome. I can set it to the level I want. As an added bonus, you can rock back and forth almost like a real rocking chair. The headrest is perfectly positioned; especially if you think like me that headrests in other chairs are almost never used. I am 193cm tall so, being able to raise the seat where my legs are levelled is perfect. All in all, it is a superbly ... MoreFinally!! Not quite right
6 September 2022

I have shorter legs than torso which is probably important to know. The lowest height isn't as low as i thought it would be so too high for me to be at a proper height. The arm rests don't go high enough to allow me to sit up straight and rest my arms on them even on their highest setting. The head rest drops at the slightest touch which gets annoying when you push the chair in it drops down so most times you sit down it's really low. Personally, I'd prefer a wider seat, but I knew that was something I was sacrificing for ergonomics, sadly it wasn't worth it. It's so close to being a good chair but it's just disappointing.

Seems a bit high
28 August 2022

I have short legs so I found one of the lowest minimum height. And it’s still too tall. I’m not that short so it’s frustrating that their designs aren’t inclusive. The lumbar support is really difficult to adjust but you once it’s set it’s fine. The head rest sometimes pops out of the position you put it in especially if you push your chair in from there. The arm rests would be better if they came up higher. They’re a touch low.Overall it’s fairly comfortable. I’m just disappointed that it’s not as adjustable as first advertised and for the price should be more inclusive in its design.

The chair that makes you want to **** yourself

I haven't even had this chair for a full day and the back pain that I get from it is just through the roof! Unfornately, I can't return this chair because I have damaged the packing, but I also can't return because I have probably damaged the chair a tiny bit from trying to adjust the lumber support which I have barely been able to move that has nearly so closely broken each one of my fingers and has hurt all of them so much in the process trying to adjust the lumber that kills from it! As someone with a back and neck disease, the headrest, the backrest, the armrest, the bumrest, just everything about this chair is just so uncomfortable and restrictive for your spine that it makes you want to cry in pain and rush to your physio because you are physically unable to ... MoreI haven't even had this chair for a full day and the back pain that I get from it is just through the roof! As someone with a back and neck disease, the headrest, the backrest, the armrest, the bumrest, just everything about this chair is just so uncomfortable and restrictive for your spine that it makes you want to cry in pain and rush to your physio because you are physically unable to adjust it to what your back needs. If you're gonna get any chair from desky and you have any back or neck disease, probably get their elite chair, which is the chair I wish I looked into before buying the chair I did, which you're basically able to adjust everything to suite your spine needs without killing yourself trying to adjust it and actually being able to adjust them to those needs in every department of the chair, which makes me so upset that I didn't get that because I really thought that this chair I got was really gonna cover my back needs when it comes to having a seat for my dream desk setup for my back that I'm getting that is comfortable for my back, my bum, and just everything man! But I'm also upset that today or tomorrow my mum is gonna be giving this company around $1300 for the L shaped sit stand desk, which I believe is gonna help me a lot with my neck and getting more blood flow to my legs and body overall throughout the day, though, the fact that she's gonna be giving to this company more money for a desk that I need for my body after having one of the most painful, upsetting experiences with a chair and having to tell my mum who bought the chair for me that this causes more pain for me then the last chair I had and that we can't return it makes me feel so defeated, hurt, embarrassed, and in pain throughout my body and soul deeply! If there is anyone I can talk to from Desky's high ups who can supply me with a free Elite chair or that can help me return the chair give me a refund, that would mean more than words as you would probably expect after reading this and it would help me expience what I should've experienced with this chair. Thank you read reading,Joseph

Received the chair today, a week earlier than expected.Spent maybe 30 mins fine tuning each adjustment and really am happy I bought this. Instructions were easy to follow, font is nice, though there is a slight typo but this doesn't matter. The arm rests I could do without but I like the material. The lumbar support could be deeper, but my body's probably still getting used to it. Not sure what I'll use the pocket underneath for? Everything important about the chair is very well designed, and not heavy. If I had one criticism it wouldn't be for the chair itself - but that I couldn't try this in person first. Also really like the blog articles on the website
