Before I break down my issues with this product, I would like to say that the support staff were phenomenal in assisting me. John in particular has the patience of a saint, having had 4 calls from me to get my problems resolved.The support I received from John and Hayden are the sole reason this review is not a lower rating than given.I was given an outdated instruction booklet, which starts off the descent into horrible product installation. I was given a digital copy of the correct, up-to-date instructions and then we were off!Step 1, Assembling the frame -- I lost a bolt into the frame itself because nowhere in the instructions does it specify where you're meant to adjust this length to. I was given a digital copy of the correct, up-to-date instructions and then we were off!Step 1, Assembling the frame -- I lost a bolt into the frame itself because nowhere in the instructions does it specify where you're meant to adjust this length to. There should honestly be markings on the inside telling you how far to extend for each tabletop, since I later, before step 5, had to flip this over to align it with the drill holes on the desk (since there's no 3B if you use their tabletop)Step 5, the sync rod, the bane of my existence. This took 2 phone calls to resolve. There is no instruction on how to work the right-side of the rod. I had to remove the wing knob and insert it separately to even get the rod to go in. Once in, the left side does not align with its hole. The support staff needed to assure me that you're meant to very forcefully rotate the rod, but only half-a-turn so it doesn't sit nice and smoothly again, so that the left side aligns. I had to repeat this about 5 times to loosen up the right side enough for it to then be able to slide in further after being half-rotated. It feels like my product was incorrectly made, but staff told me that no it was normal...Step 6, the cable tray sits in an unfortunate location in that it blocks access to one of the screws for the tabletop. This is really poorly designedStep 8, none of these silicone pads make any sense. They're all uniform, having a hole in the middle, which fits the purpose of literally zero places you're meant to put them. The 4 edges and the 2 middle ones have between a quarter and two fifths of the silicone pad just dangling over the edge, and the middle two look out of place with a hole in the middle. It feels really cheap for a $550+ desk which is unfortunate because the rest of the components are high quality (except the sync rod, that thing is actually a torture device)All throughout, the instructions were not well worded or provide enough detail as to how to assemble it. I really think the team who wrote the instructions needs to rethink the booklet. Rewrite the whole thing and assemble the product alongside writing the instructions so that it makes sense and the two align!

I bought the Desky single sit stand desk, the ergonomic chair and the integrated cable & power channel, it’s been 3 weeks and so far it’s being well worth the money , I work fully remote from home so I needed an extremely comfortable set up.The desk is amazing and the programmable function is very useful to me.The chair is very comfortable and gives my back the support it needs. The integrated cable and power channel conceals the wiring mess and makes it look very presentable. Overall I’m satisfied with the products , bear in mind I have only had it for 3 weeks , so time will tell if I still feel the same.

Putting the desk together was difficult for a layperson but not prohibitively so: I had to re-drill a couple of the holes to mount the desk but this was easily done and caused no damage to the desk top.The desk, once built, has been a major improvement to my quality of life. I have more energy and focus, and my productivity at work has improved since buying and installing the desk.This further demonstrates the need for all workplaces to provide adequate ergonomic equipment for their employees free of charge to the worker: it is good for the workers and good for business! Workplaces should be democratically owned and managed by the workers themselves, and profit share should be equitably distributed. Workplaces should provide a safe and ergonomic workplace for all staff, and these desks are one more reason why a full workers' democracy is not only desirable, but necessary if we are to build a better world together!I am fully satisfied with my purchase and would recommend (and have recommended) Desky to friends and colleagues; 5 stars!
