Overall I’m happy with the desk. It arrived quickly, was fairly easy to set up by myself, and works perfectly. My only gripe is during the purchase journey on the site, I was

I purchased the Desky Air lift zero sit stand desk. This is not my first desk of this type (although first Desky purchased) but is the first without the need to plug it in. Desk arrived
in 2 boxes at the same time and arrived very quickly which was great. Assembling the desk was not easy as I had difficulties lining up screws and the lift did not work initially.
After a lot of trial and error, help from my husband and finally support emails with Desky, I have it all working. I must admit that the difficulties I had were very frustrating as I
am quite handy and usually have no issues in assembling furniture. It turns out that the frame was bent, hence difficulty lining up holes. The good news is that I w... Show more

The good news is that I was able to get the desk assembled with 5 of the 6 screws in place, upright and the lift working! Julie from Desky support was helpful and is sending me out a new frame so I can reassemble it if I wish (as well as a little gift for the inconvenience I have encountered). Would I recommend this desk? Yes I would. It's a great size, looks fab in crisp white, has a great curved front which makes sitting more comfortable, I really like that I don't need an electric connection and the up/down movement is smooth. My other piece of advice is to contact Desky early if you have problems assembling the desk. I tried extensive troubleshooting myself and by the time I contacted the support team I was very frustrated and became even more frustrated with the suggestions offered as I had already tried them all! Thanks Desky for great products and also troubleshooting support.... Show more

Great product. Would definitely recommend. Some logistical issues are there
9 January 2024
I bought a Desky Single Sit Stand desk and I am very happy with the product. As far as the product is concerned (this might be just me), the surface is scratch prone I feel. So if you place a light wood box or something on the desk (I have a small wooden pen holder), the surface might get scratched. Overall, I am very happy with the product. I switch between standing and sitting about 2-3 per day. Will have to see how long the motor lasts.Logistical issues:- The delivery came in two parts and I was not notified at all that shipment 2 of 2 was on its way.- The instruction manual is not the worst, definitely not the best. The instructional videos are not 100% accurate either. Definitely not a deal breaker.... Show more

It doesn't go low or is stable enough

I stand, my partner sits. We wanted matching desks and for a recommendation to use desky from a work colleague. Can't say I'd do the same. For the price you pay, it's simply not worth it. You can get something half the price for the same quality. I was expecting paying a premium for a premium desk, but I can't believe they're selling a desk that can't even go lower than 73cm. That's not even within recommended ergonomic range, it should be able to go down to 65cm at the very least as the recommended height for the average adult is 70-71cm. Instead you have a desk that can only go add low as 73cm so it never feels comfortable unless you're tall. My partner is above average height for a woman and she can't get comfortable on her desk and the edge digs into her arms ... MoreI stand, my partner sits. My partner is above average height for a woman and she can't get comfortable on her desk and the edge digs into her arms as she's typing. When we brought this up to desky, they said to buy a new frame...The situations no better at standing - the height that it can go to is fine, but you lose a lot of stability. While typing on my standing desk my monitor shakes and wiggles; it's a horrible experience and I expected something more solid for the price. And no, this is not because the desk isn't level as I spent a lot of time making sure that it is.Overall, it's a lot of marketing hype and there are much better desks out there. I wouldn't recommend this one.... Show more

Loving my desky
7 August 2024
Overall the desk is great! It looks great, the material feels strong and sturdy, and the desk changes height very quickly. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because the desk sometimes has issues going down, it will stop and I would have to press the down button again for it to go down. I suspect it may be because of uneven weight on the desktop. However the desk has no issue going up. Not a big issue and I’m sure it’s easily fixable. I also did get the LED double gaming monitor mount which looks really nice and is very sturdy, however I’m slightly disappointed the LED can’t be controlled or synced with my pc.... Show more

Minimum Height is Deceiving, Buyer Beware
16 January 2024
The quality of the desk itself is very good, I'll give them that. But the minimum height DOES NOT include the desktop which is the weirdest way to measure the height of a desk. Especially since this product page is for the whole desk including the top. Regardless, the minimum height of the legs I got was about 29.75" and not 27.8". So I wanted to return/exchange them and omg was it the most tedious process. For the amount of money you're spending, their customer service is really bad. They would not acknowledge that their was an issue with my legs, no matter how many photos/videos I provided to show them. I sent an email to start the return process on Nov 28 and I'm still waiting for my refund.... Show more

Single Sit Stand is OK but average value
1 January 2024
I ordered the Single Sit Stand desk in black. The delivery process was good, within the timelines advertised, with no damage. Installation took a little bit of time, but not too difficult. The desk motor seems OK & adequate for my basic needs. Overall I would say the value is average - I only chose desky because it was a sale. I'm not sure that it's worth the extra cost VS competitors. The desk surface is actually textured, not flat. It has little bumps which is a bit frustrating - it means you need to pay more money to buy a mouse mat.The disappointing factor for me was that the minimum desk height quoted is measured from the bottom or underside of the desk, which means the minimum surface height is a few centimetres higher, and this little difference made it ... MoreI ordered the Single Sit Stand desk in black. The delivery process was good, within the timelines advertised, with no damage. I tried to contact the customer service team (within the product return time frame) to ask a solution - but I got no response and the desky team ignored my email until the return period expired. So if you are on the fence and thinking to order the desk to try it and return within the advertised timeliness, I would advise against that.... Show more

So far so good.
5 December 2023
So far so good. I immediately regretted buying black laminate, it shows all marks and dust. However the black is great for high contrast with light papers and books etc. Will have to fix with a matte glass topper potentially.Otherwise the desk is sturdy, simple to assemble, and the accessories I bought with it were great. I added the double arm monitor stand, and power/cable mgmt tray. I have a laptop (sometimes 2), screen connection, keyboard & mouse, and personal items on the desk - All with room to spare.Very satisfied - will consider adding some additional accessories I left abandoned on my initial purchase in the future as I am satisfied with the quality so far.... Soild sit/standup desk - need some patience to assemble
15 May 2023
[2 weeks usage review]The sit/standup desk is definitely solid and holds up to its strength. There are no issues when mounting heavy monitors. Usage-wise, I am defintiely happy for the purchase. Some minor issues:- Delivery was largely good - the only issue is that the webpage/app says its coming on Friday while the heavy packages already arrived on Thursday. Didn't have anyone at apartment building so I have no choice but to call the delivery workers to place outside the gate and lifting 20+ kg parcels through the gate and stairs ... would strongly recommend to check the app more often.- Assembling-wise, assembling the final wooden table top to the metal frame definitely is a challenge since you will have to (delicately) fine tune the wide of the frame ... More[2 weeks usage review]The sit/standup desk is definitely solid and holds up to its strength. I would strongly encourage anyone assembling the metal frame (in the first part) to first approximately MATCH the drilling holes on the wooden table top, before installing the cable tray (or even the motor rod). Otherwise, there is a high chance you will have to remove all those extras in the later steps for matching the holes in the wooden table top.... Show more
