Destiny The Taken King Legendary Edition Xbox One

I bought this because my boyfriend was completely obsessed with it. I wanted to see what all the commotion was about. IHe kept saying how I would not like it and how it would be a waste of my money. He was wrong. I very much so enjoy this game. I have replayed missions to gain points to level up and get better armor.I would very much so recommend this game to others.

This game has such a good premise, but it gets so repetitive. It's hard to play through. The imagery is beautiful, and the music is fantastic. I just wish actual gameplay was more varied. I got this game for my dad for Christmas last year, and he and I both have barely played it. We just got bored with it.

When the Taken King was released it was a great DLC that truly should've been apart of the game at release date. Alas it wasn't, but it made the base game a lot better. It fixed a lot of bugs and provided more content that the players were just begging for. This was probably one of my all time favorite games (Destiny as a whole not just the DLC).

Seriously obsessed with this game. It's so immersive and has so many game modes it's the only Xbox one game I've owned since it came out and continously play. The updates have been fantastic and added more game modes and continued to add new weapons and gear to keep seasoned players interested. Worth the money and then some. Trust me when I say this: Titan is the way to go!

This game made by the monster gaming company Bungee yes you heard right the same people who brought you halo 1 2. This game is a open world semi MMO shooter. There are dungeon experiences and raids included. This brings a level of difficulty that many people have been waiting for in this genre. The loot system is great too nothing like seeing that purple item drop after slaying that last boss or at any moment. Great game buy! And then buy Destiny 2.

Addicting!

If you are a first time Destiny player, this is the edition to get. DO NOT get the original Destiny game. This edition comes complete with The original Destiny game, The Dark Below expansion pack, The House of Wolves expansion pack, and The Taken King expansion pack. You get the game plus all of the expansions in one purchase. The people who bought Destiny when it first came out payed the same price. They also payed more later on to get the expansions as they came out as well. So first year players have spent double the price of this Taken King edition game and received the same content. Bad move from Bungie on that regards. However, as far as the gameplay, it is a phenomenal game. This game will have you hooked as soon as you start playing it. Even for those who aren't very experienced in first person shooter games will have a blast with this one. Very easy to get used to!

Excellent game but the Legendary edition Extras are not really included.

Be warned when it says includes all destiny games. They must be downloaded and it takes about 12 hours on ps3 from when you first put the disk in to when you actually get to play the game and it's not a background download. Worth the trouble, but nobody seems to tell you this. Enjoy

Great game

I am not the biggest of gamers. I like to play first person shooter games the most. Have basically abandoned all other games and now only play this one. I do not normally purchase upgrades for games and things like that, I don't like to play interactively with other players. However, I have done both on this game. Is really enjoyable and it was nice to see at a discount price. It was the best price I could find at the time and without the price match.

Looking forward to playing

I've heard nothing but good things about Destiny. Looking forward to many hours of fun playing all three games in the series! Dropped it to four stars only because of the lengthy download/installation time. The downloads included in the Legendary edition (Destiny 2, Destiny 3, Taken King, and a weapons pack) was only a few hundred KB so they all downloaded almost instantly. However, this being my first Destiny purchase I had to download updates for 3 hours before I could even start the game, and then an additional 15 minutes to install the game to my console. FYI to anyone hoping to pick up the game and try to play as soon as you put the disc in!

Well worth delving into

Expansive world and involving gameplay. Bungie have again shown their mastery in the art. My only gripe with game such as this are that there are areas you can't complete unless you buy an extension. Some of the tasks you are given in the campaign are encouraging you to play against others on-line in what they call the 'crucible'. For this you obviously need to subscribe to xbox live. This shouldn't be part of a campaign and people should not feel pressured into spending more when they have already purchased an xbox and game.
