I always add a capful of this in the drawer when I wash my towels every Saturday just to make extra sure to kill the germs. It definitely feels like my towels are cleaner, and it smells good too. I also add a capful alongside Wilko's own washing machine cleaner when I'm giving my machine it's monthly deep clean and I feel like it really helps give it that extra boost of freshness.

I had trouble with musty smelling clothes after washing, so I tried cedar balls and scented drawer liners which had little effect, The I tried this product and the result is fresh smeeling clothes even if I have to dry them indoors. Very glad I now use it regularly in every was cycle..

A reassuring addition to any wash cycle but particularly those washes where there is likely to be more bacteria hanging around than usual. I pop some of this in the washing machine on a 90C wash and it seems to clean my machine through nicely.The only downside is that you get through a bottle pretty quickly considering you need two full caps of the product in one wash. It would be nice to get a concentrated version of this stuff.Otherwise, it’s become a laundry essential in my house.

I use instead of a fabric conditioner to keep laundry fresh at lower washing temperatures. One other improvement is that, with continued use, the machine no longer has a musty smell. Have been using for several years and tend to buy several when they are on offer.
I really rate this product. As a mother of a sports mad son, I'm often washing stinky football and gym kits. Sometimes washing alone can leave a feint whiff of stale sweat but two capfuls of this laundry cleanser and it's like magic. It gets rid of any remaining bacteria. The only downside for me is that it doesn't leave a lot of room left in my conditioner tray in my washing machine for conditioner but it's still worth it!

stinky sweaty gym clothes from hubby were given a new lease of life with this product. Sure, my usual washing liquid gets things clean but there is always a residual scent of stale sweat. I used this in the conditioner drawer instead of fabric conditioner and lo and behold the stale smell went the first time I washed at 40 degrees. It is also great for tired towels and amazing if you have an item that is particularly smelly.
I ordered this item previously and it was double the size. This item was for my father and he was extremely disappointed with the size!. The next driver that comes, I will hand back the unopened bottles to them. I would like a full refund for two bottles please.
I like this product (probably because I trust Dettol as a manufacturer) and the clothes do have a fresh smell when coming out of the washing machine. However my question relates to the manufacturers quote "proven to work in the rinse cycle temperatures as low as 15Deg C". If the cleanser as instructed, is added to the fabric conditioner drawer, the water entering that drawer is cold water and in our West Sussex case this is approx 8-10DegC and does not get heated further in our Mieile washing machine? May be a question to the manufacturer is required.
Love love love this product Busy household can be used on waterproof jackets, delicates , towels , beddings , socks. Highly recommend for new borns , we have a Prem baby and wash the lining of the Pram Hood blankets weekly. Smells so fresh I have even used on cool washes for sofa fabrics , cushion covers, washing actual pillows. Unlike other products doesnt make towels hard and crusty nor stains or dyes fabrics. Wish they did a bigger bottle and more varied smells.
