Dettol Antiseptic Classic 2 x 750ml

It is what it says on the tin/bottle. It's a antiseptic, for (skin) cuts, pimples and a disinfectant (cleaning around the house) I've grown up with in the 🇯🇲 household,due to my grandmother and auntie's living and working in the 🇬🇧 as nurses and midwives and bring back all the hospital training and hygiene practices within our household. This is a true “all in one” product. I bought a bottle for cleaning/disinfecting after hearing how popular it is in the US Europe. From walls, to floors laundry. I tried it everywhere. I read it can also be used for cuts, but I haven’t tried it for that yet. Its got an intense pine-antiseptic smell. My husband commented that our house smelled like a Doctor’s office after I cleaned (truthfully, I didn’t mind the smell). It’s hard to find in Canada (Walmart is the only place I’ve found it) it’s only available in the original scent. I wish I could find some other scents to try. I do love that I can mix a batch of it in a spray bottle it doesn’t lose effectiveness, like bleach does after being mixed with water. This is a multipurpose liquid ,which can be used to clean laundry, wipe the floor, used while shaving to cleanse the razor, kitchen and bathroom cleaning, can be added to bathing water while taking a bath (those who don't mind menthol smell). Mind you, this is not the good old detail antiseptic liquid which comes with the clear bottle and green cap,which is handy for cuts and wounds. An old friend

Dettol’s familiar smell is so reassuring. I am nearly 80 and remember that smell from my childhood…the bedside thermometer in a glass with diluted Dettol, cloudy white, at times of childhood illnesses. Now I happily use it in the mop, a drop in the washing machine, in the bathroom, wherever you think germs lurk.

i used it very often! My friends complaint on the strong smell after used, this is because they had added too much. it helps to prevent mould on ceiling and areas with grout. Do not leave it too long on steel or stainless steel to prevent rusty. My house does not have any insect or lizard after using it!

Tried and tested quality product

Our household has been using Dettol Liquid Antiseptic for God knows how long. It is a tried and tested quality product highly effective as an antiseptic and sanitiser. We have been using it more frequently in recent times and it's one of those products that give you peace of mind. This liquid antiseptic however does not come cheap when compared to corresponding products in the market and that's the only concern.

Try It As A Gnat Repellent

I am using this product as an insect repellent, and it really works! I dab a little behind ears, around my collar and hairline and it keeps gnats from bothering me. And biting! As an antiseptic, I believe it's also very good for minor cuts and scrapes. Nice clean smell, too.
