Dettol Surface Cleanser Antibacterial 750ml

An Amazon Pantry half price purchase, at 1.50 for a 750ml bottle, thats good value.Im always wiping down work surfaces in the kitchen area. In a rural area, there are often flies around and I dont like to think theyve been walking anywhere near food preparation. This stuff is great. A quick spray and it wipes worktops, cooker top and oven front. I also use it frequently on door and tap handles. Its clean smelling, without being strongly fragranced, which I like. Great stuff.

I have been using the lemon scented spray and it is unreal! Smells CLEAN AND FRESH on all surfaces! which makes the room smell amazing! Makes surfaces actually shine and defiantly cleans surfaces! I have a young child and prepare bottles etc on my kitchen worktops. But I also have two cats that walk all over my house so I would refuse to prepared bottles after the cat’s have walked all over the worktops! Defiantly recommend this product! It’s amazing!

Brilliant

I'd like to start by saying how happy I am with just how big the bottle is! 750ml is just the perfect size for our large family. I am forever cleaning surfaces so for it to be such a large bottle is so handy. It kills 99.9% of bacteria which is huge given we have covid now never kind all the rest of the illnesses floating about, it's much needed. The spray nozzle is amazing, it leaves a generous fine mist wherever sprayed. There's no need to rinse either so any clean is real quick. The nozzle also has a lock on it so it can be sprayed when on, so great as I have a toddler. No oder. Does the job so well.

Brute force!

Well, hubby found a way. He took off the white covering off the top of the spray. You will then see two tags holding the squirt mechanism in place. You need to force a tag over the rim/collar to force the lid off. Refill bottle then put the cover on the top of sprayer and pushed back on. Why have Dettol changed the bottles and continuing to sell the refills! Its just brute force and luck that my husband managed to do it! It is absolutely crazy they have changed the bottles, more plastic pollution.... come on Dettol, sort it out or you will lose a lot of customers! 5 stars as I love Dettol spray and aerosols and use all of the time BUT zero if you continue with these new bottles!

ESSENTIAL PRODUCT BUT WATCH PICES

I HAVE USED THIS IN THE KITCHEN SINCE IT CAME OUT. UNFORTUNATELY MY LAST BOTTLE RAN OUT JUST AS THE PANDEMIC REACHED THE UK. ALL THE SUPERMARKETS WERE STRIPPED OF STOCKS IN HOURS. I ORDERED THIS LARGE BOTTLE AT WHAT WAS AN ELEVATED BUT NOT EXPLOITATIVE PRICE. JUDGING BY THE CURRENT OUTRAGEOUS OFFERS I DID WELL TO BUY WHEN I DID. SO MY PURCHASE REPRESENTS GOOD VALUE. THE PRODUCT IS PERFECT IN THE CURRENT CIRCUMSTANCES AS IT KILLS CORONAVIRUS BUT IS SAFE TO SPRAY VIRTUALLY ANYWHERE. I EVEN SPRAY IT ON THE SCARF I WEAR WHEN DOING FOOD SHOPPING. SOME PEOPLE HAVE LAUGHED AT ME. IT IS ALSO ECONOMICAL TO USE AND LONG LASTING IF YOU DON'T GO STUPID IN YOUR APPLICATION. THE GOVERNMENT SHOULD SUPPLY IT FREE TO EVERY HOUSEHOLD - NOT GOING TO HAPPEN

Fantastic

Dettol antibacterial surface cleaning spray is fantastic. I have used this product around my whole kitchen. I feel assured as it kills 99.9% of bacteria and viruses. Whilst using the spray I noticed it has no strong smells from it but my kitchen felt clean and fresh. The best thing is it contains no bleach or odour making it safe to use around food and food preparation areas without tainting food products.

For anyone sensitive to perfume

Due to the Covid crisis, I've broken my 'no chemicals' rule and have ended up buying so many bottles and sprays of disinfectant. All I wanted was one that wouldn't give me a migraine with its horrible synthetic smell. Why are they all so heavily perfumed? This one isn't. It still has a scent but it doesn't make me ill. It's expensive and seems in short supply, so I use it only in the kitchen and when disinfecting food. The others can be used on the door handles etc. So, if you're sensitive to perfume at all, this is the best I've found.

Great all round cleaning

This is a very good all round cleaner which does leave surfaces clean and dust free. The nozzle action is very good as you get good coverage and the cleaner liquid itself smells nice not overpowering or strong like some. It leaves a pleasant fresh smell that lasts for up to a day and beyond. I love how versatile the product is, one bottle many function so you can’t go wrong. Highly recommended.

Safety first!

Cannot stress enough how using this product gives my family some peace of mind in these challenging times. We always have Dettol in the house, my parents and grandparents swore by it, as do I. I would not be without it. It's brilliant at keeping everything clean and safe. I love that it's crystal clear and scent free and could not be easier to use. My taps always look extra sparkly after a spritz of Dettol spray. Brilliant product!

White plastic

Please forgive my 1* review as the product is fine however i think this is an important issue, ocado sells the white bottles even though you can still get the clear ones elsewhere. The spray isn't as good but we didn't mind at first naively thinking the white bottles had a purpose, maybe easier to recycle?
