Unboxing was easy. This is a large possibly commercial dehydrator and not one I can store in the kitchen cupboard. All trays are stainless steel and full in the dishwasher. Once plugged in the controls are easy to use with precise movements. The fan is a little noisy but that is expected on such a large unit. This pushes the heat very effectively to all corners of the dehydrator. Works very well and can dehydrate large amounts of food.Downsides for me is the large size and lack of information on drying times and temperatures for this particular dehydrator as they are all different.

I’ve managed so far successfully to dehydrate garlic, lime citrus slices and doggy liver treats.Note, very limited operating instructions are included with this product so you will need to get your google on to try and sort out temperature and dehydration guess times because none of that is included.Fair price for what it is.Was not impressed however with the three weeks it took Black Swallow to deliver this purchase, quite disappointing delivery time frame.

Just started using it, and very impressed. So far I’ve used it to dehydrate food before powdering it: lime slices, onion tops, garlic, parsley, leek greens. It dries evenly, even when I just toss a a pile of onion tops on a single tray, and the controls are well designed and easy to use. My previous dehydrator was a reliable Fowlers Vacola brand, around 17 years old. This Devanti model appears to be even better.Highly recommended.

This dehydrator is great, however it comes with a large sticker on the clear door of it. I would encourage Devanti to reconsider the placement of the sticker or the glue that they use as it is very difficult to get off and the plastic does not react well to standard adhesive remover. Otherwise, the product is awesome and I love it!
This is a well built and functional dehydrator that is working well with loads of apples. We would have given 5 stars but there is limited information provided on dehydrating to you either have to search the net or purchase books and then experiment - which we are doing. The apples (skins off or on depending on your preference) work a treat at 6 hours and the highest temp. The unit is fairly quiet and the smell is lovely to have through the house. Excellent stainless steel racks make it easy to keep clean and worth the investment.
This dehydrator does what it says. However, the base of the dehydrator is a little odd and looks like it’s missing a piece. The way the base is designed makes it difficult to clean. I like that the trays can be removed to allow for larger items, and they are easy to clean. It does have a very loud beep when changing temperature and time, which seems unnecessary. All in all though it does it’s job and I have made lovely beef jerky, apple chips, zucchini chips, dehydrated banana and orange and lime slices.
I have used it at least 6 times and Im addicted to dehydrating food now. One minor issue I found was that the fan makes noisy clunky sounds for 20 seconds or so as it slows down when the unit is turned off. Nothing to be alarmed about but thought Id mention it. Otherwise I cant fault the product and I absolutely love it. So glad I bought the large 9 tray unit instead of a smaller more compact system. Delivery was also very fast considering I live in a remote location. Highly recommended
Dehydrator arrived quickly, and is very easy to use straight out of the box. Dries food as expected. Easy to clean. Only gripe would be the door slides from top down and if you have started it before putting the door down, you get blown in the face. A side opening door would have been easier to use. Great quality for the money spent.
Purchased to make dog treats. Dries Chicken breast perfectly making it a more affordable option as both my dog and cat love them. Also tried Blood Orange Rounds to dress up cocktails - look amazing. Super easy to operate. Does create some heat and low noise but put it in the garage. Nice & light to carry.
One details which did not came with Dehydrator is full instruction manual as How the Dehydrator can be set for various food and veges which is very important to me.Please I would appreciate it very much if such instructions are available with you or any web site this instructions I will be able to down load.ThanksRiaz kazi
