Devanti Corded Handheld Bagless Vacuum Cleaner - Purple and Silver

This Devanti Handheld Vac is awesome. It was powerful enough to do a house clean when we were vacating a property. Works well on flat carpet but not sure about thick fluffy carpet. For the money it is brilliant. Because it is corded you don't run out of juice and it just does the job. I've got Dyson Cordless and other Vacs but I think this is by far the best one and I don't have much praise for gutless vacuum cleaners that only run for minutes. It's light as well which is good for a long run time. This one is highly recommended.

Very happy with the product. As others have said the cord is short. I was already aware of this when purchasing. Also a lot of complaints about the picture appearing to be cordless. Please read product information as it clearly as states it is corded. Good suction and manouverability. Light to handle and easy to use. Happy with my purchase.

Not what I wanted.My fault. I bought off the pics.The Pics I have show no cord at all. Now the pics are changed that shows a small cord.I offered to send it back and pay the difference for a Cordless.The seller wanted extra money to restock item. Including postage. I agreed to the postage. But not the restock.This has taken so longSo much for Mydeals easy returnsThey told me they would try and sort it.Deadly Silence.They don’t careIt’s that simple

The vacuum feels slightly top heavy. Good for a quick whip around, particularly on hard floors. Ok to pick up a bit of fluff from carpets, but don't expect much suction on your carpets. You will still need a good upright for carpets. Dust canister is small and needs emptying after one or two uses, but is fully washable which is good, and no bag. Also good that this is a corded vacuum as there will be too many lithium/ion batteries and products heading to landfill in the future with many products these days using batteries.

So undone my vacuum cleaner for the first time today and was very disappointed as nowhere in your ads does it show it's attached to an electrical cord. I assumed it was like another type of hand held vacuum cleaner I bought earlier when the battery in my hand held Electrolux did not hold its charge. I thought I had recharged the Electrolux so gave my new one to my grandson. I had to buy another one for myself as the Electrolux kept stopping. I assumed quite wrongly this one would have a charging station but how wrong I was. Being 83 I do not feel inclined to be continually bending over to connect this one to the power point or an extension cord. Thought this was cordless which is disappointing. Works okay. The height of the stick is great for shorter people as I have to bend down to use the vaccine. Also the cord is relatively short as well which means you can vacuum quarter to half a room before having to find another power point. It’s relatively good quality however not what I thought I was purchasing.

It's a very good vacuum cleaner for the price, perfect for hard floor (haven't tested it for carpets). It is small and easy for storage. I've broke the lip of the old vacuum cleaner by accident and now am getting a second one. I don't feel it is painful as the product is so cheap! Highly recommend it for someone who doesn't mind a traditional cord connected vacuum cleaner.

Burning money will make your house cleaner than this vacuum will!!

The vacuum arrives & as soon as I plug it in, I realise how much of a bad decision this was. It won’t suck up light debris on the floor and just pushes it around. You have to vacuum like 4 times over the same spot on the floor to actually clean it and the suction is terrible. I’ve tried contacting Kogan customer service and nobody is answering my requests to return the vacuum. I HATE KOGAN & THIS VACUUM!!!

Cleans Well

I'm pleased I didn't have to assemble this - husband is very handy but if you have difficulty assembling items this would be a challenge.The cleaning is excellent, couldn't possibly fault it. It is light and easy to use. Emptying is simple.My only complaint is storing it. It can't stand on its own so needs to be laid down unless you can organise something to hang it. I'm happy to change the power point a few times as the chord is a reasonable length but not really long. Overall, better than some I've had and the cleaning ability is excellent.
