Devanti Food Dehydrator With 7 Trays - Silver

I’ve used it once only to do chicken jerky for my dog. It worked alright. I think the rectangular trays offer less real estate than my round dehydrator that I had to discard. And it took 9 hours to do the job instead of 7 with my previous dehydrator. So I’m really only moderately satisfied with its performance.

As l have purchased several Devanti products in the past and had found them all excellent l had no hesitation in purchasing this dehydrator, have not used it yet but it is light and easy to use with lots of trays, only one complaint, not enough info on temperatures for different products used, eg. Herbs.

Nice, compact, visually pleasing unit. Looks great out on the bench top. Very easy to use. However there are no instructions in the very limited user “manual”. Googled “how to use dehydrator” and found many helpful blogs and YouTube videos. Seems like it’s mainly trial and error anyway. Food preparation is time consuming as it is important to cut food into uniform sized pieces. Also I found dipping fruit (apples and bananas) into a 1:4 lemon:water solution gives better results re: taste/looks, so worth the effort. Overall I am very happy with it. It is a small size, which is why I bought it. It was towards the end of our apple crop, though it might not be big enough for the whole season. I discovered that it only took 8 Granny Smith apples to fill the 5 trays.

I am very happy with my recently purchased Devanti Dehydrator. It’s rectangular shape is sleek & much more easily stored than round ones. Also quieter than others I have ‘heard’. Have had great success with my semi dried tomatoes, strawberries & currant grapes. And lots of compliments too!

Devanti Food Dehydrator

I have been using this since I purchased it about 6 weeks ago. Its really good for drying my citrus fruit (plain and cooked in sugar syrup). I'm hoping to use it over summer to dry some summer fruits too. A good investment.The only thing I didn't know was that drying sheets could be useful. So far, I've managed without them.

Good for the price

It’s a good dehydrator for the price. Super easy to clean. The timer and heat settings work great. I just found I had to rotate the trays regularly to get an even drying time. I think it was designed for only 5 trays and 7 is a push.

Good looking dehydrator

I have been looking at buying a dehydrator for a long time, finally found this one that seemed to tick all the boxes. Looked good, performance sounded perfect and it was well priced.When it arrived, the top corner of the item was smashed, so it was completely unusable and had to be returned. Refund took almost 2 full weeks.Incidentally, the item description said stainless steel shelves - they were actually plastic.

Great little dehydrator for its price

Recently purchased as it is a good price point for someone wanting to get into dehydrating food. It works great on the things we have tried so far (zucchini, citrus, and berries). The only negative is that it does dehydrate the bottom trays quicker but you can just rotate the trays once during the 10 hour window and it comes out even.

First time buying a dehydrator and I spent a lot of time researching to get the right one for me. I am very happy with my decision. Its quiet, holds a lot, has a timer and auto turn off as well as overheat protection. It lost a star because the lid doesn't sit on straight (but not bad enough to need a new one) and it takes a little longer than recommended dehydrating times. But I am still new at it. Also have to rotate trays but I think that happens with most dehydrators anyway. Would definitely recomend to someone starting out.

Great, just not intuitive.

Works well and does the job. Although, the product isn’t very intuitive, if you need change the running time, you have to turn it off and change your running time again. Temperature can be adjusted simply.
