Devanti Portable Ice Cube Maker - Silver

This is a great little icemaker except..............this is my second one because no one can tell me where to get the other one serviced. I use it every day for my drinks and find it hard to be without it. No more making icetrays all the time. If I can ever find out where to get my previous one servied, I will certainly make use of the 2 of them.

Great buy and got it on sale! Makes ice quickly and the small size ice is perfect for drinks! If you don’t have a plumbed fridge, then you need one of these! Had issue with delivery but the communication with My Deal and the courier was fantastic and got it sorted quickly. Will definitely be purchasing with confidence through My Deal again.

Very happy. Will not buy a fridge with water and ice plumbed as I've heard of many problems, so decided to pay $100 and get a small Icemaker which makes me drink more water during the summer months. I'll pack it away during winter and don't have to replace my fridge with something that will cause issues. Cubes are smallish, but I like that when they melt a bit, I can crunch them and end up having more water..Win, win!!!

What a handy machine. Takes its time (about 8 minutes) before putting out the first ice but from then on it just keeps producing more and more. Not actual ice 'blocks.' They are hollow bullet shaped, but ice is ice. I am looking forward to putting it to work the next time I have a party and need lots of fresh ice,

When first received I LOVED this product. However on the 5th time using it the piece that moves the ice into the holding tray broke and then soon after the the machine stopped working all together. Tried multiple times to get help via MyDeal without success. Went to Devanti themselves who were initially helpful but quickly made it obvious there is no real warrantee on this product and they are not willing to help. Despite loving this product when it works I will never purchase from them again. They will NOT help you or supply a replacement product. Guess its cheap rubbish for a reason

Best kitchen addition for summer!

So happy with this little workhorse! I love that it makes two sizes. The smaller size is our favorite. It honestly takes 5-6 mins to make 9 ice cubes. Definitely recommend if you love having ice. The ice does melt and drops into the water reservoir & I do find that once it melts a few times the ice cubes taste funny. Now I turn it off at night & dump all the water out & put fresh water in the morning when I turn it on.

Good for up to ~6 drinks per hour.

Pretty good overall. Makes enough ice for one drink every 10 minutes or so. Stores enough for ~6 people at a time. The noise of the fan is noticeable while running. Not loud, but you can tell it's on from across the room. Automatically stops when the ice container is full. One refill of water makes 2-3 batches. The one issue I have, is the ice is "wet" after it is made. This means if you're making up a large batch ahead of time, say for a party, it will freeze into a solid lump in your freezer. A hammer breaks it up easily though.

Great Ice Maker

Bought this as a gift. Set up straight away to use on Christmas Day. Easy to set up and use, only took approx 15 mins approx for the first batch of ice cubes on the largest setting. Only filled once and kept going all day pumping out ice. Great size too, no bigger than a small car fridge and fits perfect on the bench. Would recommend for any man cave/shed or anyone wanting ice quickly without waiting for it to freeze in the trays in the freezer!

Great machine and easy to use

I bought this as a Christmas gift for our family of 6. The machine has been in constant use each day since. The machine was easy to set up and use. Its quiet to run, we can have it going in the background while watching movies. The family is loving having constant access to ice for drinks. It seem to take a bit for the "plastic" taste to come out of the machine. I'd washed it out several times, wiped it with vanilla essence and a few others, but it took a day or two for the taste to come right. Pro - easy to use, quiet unit, and quick to replenish. Con - the ice doesn't last long mixed in drinks if coming straight from the machine, but it does cool the drink down. If they were put in the freezer for storage, I assume they would last longer. Very Handy

Very handy & much better than expected. We’ve only used the small ice setting so far and that’s been fine. No longer have to worry about who hasn’t filled the ice trays! The only downside at this stage is if you’re trying to make a lot of ice to store, then the ice all sticks together - unlike when you empty the ice trays normally. It may be because the ice seems to be slightly wetter? Anyway it does it’s job, doesn’t take up too much room, was on special at a good price & is convenient.
