I bought this drill a couple of weeks ago ,so far so good if your looking for a very good reliable drill for your home projects this is the one , I'm not a trade so I don't need a bigger more powerful drill this does everything , unlike the previous review I've had no problem with Chuck getting stuck .The other thing is you don't need two batteries so why pay the extra price the 5amp battery is very sufficient and charges quickly , so if your like me this is all you need and will last a long time .Cheers swany
Perfect for projects around the house. Single battery has lasted me a whole day of drilling for bathroom renovations. More than enough power to screw and drill most things
I bought this on special at Bunnings for $149 about 15 months ago. I have 8 other drills of various capacity including two magnificent Festool products. However, I find myself reaching for this whenever general use is required rather than others purely due to its lightweight and ability to get into tight spots. It is not super powerful but then I use a rotary drill or 996 or Makita heavyweight for these jobs. I've had no trouble with the chuck asothers have. The 2 Ah battery which came with this lasts a long session and assists with the ease of handling. The 5Ah batteries just add a little weight.I'll be giving this drill to my daughter to add to her collection and purchasing the Dewalt 796 which is a little more powerful but also great to use.
I bought this drill a few days ago and the chuck jammed with screw driver bit in it after its second use and remains. Greatly disappointed considering the potential promised. I'll need to attend the store to have the product may be work again
This is ok for the home handyman but be aware that it is not as powerful as the higher priced models. Upon looking at reviews I would probably have chosen the ryobi similar model instead.
I only use my drill occasionally for home handy man stuff. But it stopped working. Be warned ... This is not a professional quality tool.
