DeWalt 18V Brushless Cordless Compact Reciprocating Saw Skin - DCS367N-XJ

Needed a reciprocating saw so after a bit of research I went for the DeWalt as my other kit is & performs well. Have spent the past two days using the saw to demolish a plasterboard ceiling, ceiling joists, redundant roof joists & tile battens. Saw is powerful but sufficiently light weight to work all day & gets into tight spots. 4 way blade position is brilliant coupled with easy blade release & lock. Does go through my 4ah batteries but no more than the circular saw does. Very pleased.

Compact and comfortable saw. Not as much vibration as I was expecting from reading other reviews, regarding this, though have only used a couple of times so far and then for relatively short periods. As a DIY user I would not expect to use this saw for extended periods so will probably not suffer from any vibration effects. Bought primarily for disposing of furniture for a house move. Quite a beast in use and certainly does the job without effort. Easily cut a large 6ft settee in two in order to take to the tip. Went through wood casing like a knife through butter then with a metal blade went through springs and wires underneath to complete the job. These roots had expanded out and were locked inside the bulbous part of the pot. Would not have been able to get down inside to cut these roots away with any type of hand saw, but with the long Dewalt wood saw blade and the DCS367N, was able to get deep down inside the planter, straight down and on an angle to cut the roots away and hence their grip within. Invaluable for this and other DIY jobs, and no doubt will come in handy for other household and garden jobs in the future.Well done Dewalt and a great price and service (very quick delivery) as usual from DVS.

Great saw, The 3* are because of vibration and also the battery holder is a bit stiff, so getting the batteries in/out needs a lot of force, in fact banging the back quite hard while holding the button down. The vibration is really really quite high , in fact I used Stihl safety gloves , i have for a chain saw , and after a few hours , Morning of continuously use, pretty much cutting branches of various thicknesses - i had a big blister on the inside of my thumb

The saw is lightweight and compact so I put it to use chopping down privet at the base, 30-40 mm and it performed well at cutting, motor didn't overheat my only frustration is, it had a fully charged 4ah battery and lasted maybe 10 mins. The blade could of been sharper or new which may help the battery last longer. I like how quick the blades are to change. Overall pleased with the purchase,

I don’t have much experience with power tools and this is the first saw I have ever bought. So far I have only used it to take my old shed apart. It’s like a hot knife through butter. Control improves with a bit of practice. I reckon it is impossible to use without a smile on your face. Just brilliant!

Demolition + Productivity = Get One.

Good little beast for demolition work. Can quickly work through 5ah batteries on high workloads. Used it in unforeseen situations so its a versatile tool to have on hand.

Flexible configuration, lightweight and reasonably powerful

I have dewalt tools so I was always going to buy dewalt. Plenty of reviews out there suggest this is a good tool but a bit high on vibration. I didn't find this to be the case and have no problem doing small cuts with a single hand. Highly recommended tool.

Great tool

Great tool for flexible work on the go, especially useful for wood, green wood, pipes and even brick! Surprisingly powerful yet light, the only trade-off is higher amounts of vibration than the larger and heavier variants, so both have their place. Probably wouldn't want to use this one everyday, all day, but especially for the quick cut every now and then this one is great. Due to the low weight also useable for overhead work, e.g. drywall cutouts. Overall highly recommended for anyone that already subscribes to the DeWalt 18V XR ecosystem.

great little tool.

great little tool, a lot easier to use than the bigger models. Nice and powerful. Only used to cut pallets so far but cuts through them like hot knife through butter.
