Very happy. Used first time today13/5/23 on next doors encroaching bush. Some of the branches were 2.5mm thick, but this was not a problem to this Pruner. The weight was an issue at first, but having mastered the safety switch I got through in no time at all.

Very happy. Used first time today13/5/23 on next doors encroaching bush. Some of the branches were 2.5mm thick, but this was not a problem to this Pruner. The weight was an issue at first, but having mastered the safety switch I got through in no time at all.
Looked useful-ish and thought might be handy for the wife with arthritis. Yes it is, but mind-bogglingly useful for me too... saves the constant grip action with manual secateurs and as its one-handed operation is much easier to use than loppers. Ample powerful for branches up to an inch in diameter, and if it doesn’t get through the first time, a second or third activation sees it cut. Surprisingly brilliant and very useful.
Great power tool! Surprisingly powerful! Will make a pruning job go a lot faster, and don’t need to use a saw as much now. The tool is quite large and heavy, I recommend the smaller 2Ah batteries.

I was looking for a pair of powered pruners delighted to find Dewalt did a pair so ordered before I read the online reviews!. So it was with some trepidation that I set them to use. If you use them as secateurs they are great, but they are not loppers, the blade does wear but it’s replaceable and they will cut up to the thickness of my thumb. Whilst they are heavy you get used to it and when you are diving in amongst a rose the shape seems to protect your hands from the thorns. Several hundred cuts seemed to make little impression on a 5 amp hr battery.
A very powerful pruner. Easy to use. Best used with a small 2 amp hour battery to keep it lightweight. The larger batteries tend to add a lot of weight and make it tiring for using over long periods.
OMG I love this power tool. We have a big Orchard which needs pruning constantly. I was so sick of getting blisters by using normal secateurs. It’s a life saver to me. I would recommend it to anyone !
Excellent design and performance. Fast cut and reset. Powerful. It's quite heavy, but the weight is justified by the performance benefit. Long life from 4/5 a/H batteries. Only wish replacement blades were easier to find; it's hard work locating them!
