DeWalt - 20-Volt Max 9-Tool Power Tool Combo Kit with Soft Case (2-Batteries Included and Charger Included)

I've had several DeWalt tools in my life time of being a carpenter and rehabilitation construction worker . Having my own company for many years I always had to keep a eye on cost and efficiency in the purchase and long life of my tools. Having tools that lasted and worked well was very important to me and my men . When a tool , drill it saw of some kind was needed , it was needed right then , and it needed to work and keep working. This is why I chose DeWalt tools and still do. I have a 30 year old drill that still will outwork and newer drill I see . DeWalt makes some fine hard working , long lasting tools as I've every seen. Being 70 and retired I still want , get and use DeWalt everyday on projects . I would recommend them to anyone looking for good reliable ... MoreI've had several DeWalt tools in my life time of being a carpenter and rehabilitation construction worker . DeWalt Delight!

Purchased my DeWalt 20-Volt Max Lithium-Ion Cordless Combo Kit (9-Tool) dream tool set in a mid-December 6 hour sale special by Home Depot. I was like a kid at Christmas unpacking these beautiful tools. I have lots of tools but DeWalt quality just stands out. Thank you Home Depot for the best special I’ve ever seen for such quality tools. Not only are they amazing tools but they are so beautiful that I immediately set about building a tool cabinet that would do justice to their style and function. During construction I used 8 of the 9 cordless power in this combo. I was already the proud owner of a DeWalt Contractors bench saw. It was perfect for cutting the plywood into perfect pieces of the cabinet puzzle. I mostly just designed it as I built it. It was perfect for cutting the plywood into perfect pieces of the cabinet puzzle. I mostly just designed it as I built it. Wanted every tool to have a perfect home and also room to place accessory hand tools, and several DeWalt tool boxes in the cabinet. For mounting I made a French cleat the exact shape of the cabinet back. The top of the cleat attached to the cabinet top-back and the remaining large section secured to shop wall. Installation or removal of the cabinet is simple lifting the cabinet on or off the French cleat support. I find myself looking for projects to use these tools. The quality, convenience, shape, and functions of each tool just makes every use an enjoyment. Thank you Home Depot for such an amazing sale opportunity.

I got this set for my boyfriend, who does construction for a living & is extremely hard on everything, I mean breaks everything he touches. He started with a Makita set but it didn't have enough power for him & the tools were smaller. He loves this Dewalt set, I asked him for a review but all he would tell me is "they are beast mode". Another big plus it's that every box store sells Dewalt so it's easy to find additional items be may want. He looked at many sets & this was the best value & combo. I do know however that he's going to buy a bigger battery because the battery size that came with the set is too small. Highly recommend.

Missing Parts on arrival

Ordered this great set online. When it arrived I noticed some items missing. Online told me to return it to the store. When I do that the store refuses to take it back because its missing. Literally the reason I want to return in. Terrible experience. Love the brand and have always enjoyed Lowe's that was before I had to make a return.

Much of my disappointment is due to my own unrealistic expectations.First, I knew I was ordering a kit with two items I did not want. However, with the two tools I did want, the charger, batteries, and bag, the price was significantly better than the individual prices. However, the saw is not the same quality as the standalone saw I was comparing it with (there was one letter difference between the part numbers), and the saw did not come with a fence. I do not know if the standalone did, but I figured I could buy the fence separately.Unfortunately, I could not find the fence for sale either from Home Depot or DeWalt.I returned the kit before using it and bought a standalone saw at Home Depot. Read carefully

I didn't read the label at the top of the page and made my decision based on the Overview at the bottom that had the product details which indicated that this kit came with 4x batteries. I contacted customer support and the website they were looking at didn't have it listed as having 4x batteries anywhere even though I was clearly looking at it. Very disappointed.

Terrible batteries.

I purchased this set of 9 tools for a DIY kitchen installation that I am doing. The biggest flaw that I experienced is with the circular saw and the batteries. I was rip cutting 4 inches off 2 8ft laminate countertops (1 1/8 inches thick). In order for me to get thru the entire 8 foot countertop I had to use a total of 3 batteries per countertop. The 2 batteries that came with the set died so quickly while cutting, they each got thru about 3 feet of cutting before running out of juice. I had to wait for the batteries to charge again to finish cutting. It was very frustrating. I don't know if I got bad batteries or if this is what I should have expected. From my research online, 1 battery should be able to cut about 12 sheets of plywood. This was definitely not my ... MoreI purchased this set of 9 tools for a DIY kitchen installation that I am doing. Worries relieved

I found a bunch of bad reviews about the actual retailer not sending the product after order and payment but going through ebay i figured i had the security of ebays enforcement over its vendors and the ebay delivery guaranty and glad I did. Recvd product as described exactly on estimated delivery date. So far only used drill, sawszall, light and speaker briefly bit all worked good. Tools come with dewalt warranty so dont forsee any issues. Other reviews comment on battery size being small but is expected in a package deal as such. Can always buy upgrades. No blades for oscilating saw and no grinder wheels but they weren't listed in description so again expected. Too many options for both for dewalt to guess at what style/type to include. Overall still a bargain at ... MoreI found a bunch of bad reviews about the actual retailer not sending the product after order and payment but going through ebay i figured i had the security of ebays enforcement over its vendors and the ebay delivery guaranty and glad I did. Overall still a bargain at this price. Only saw home depot with similar price but none available. May not be contractor grade but fills up the home garage tool shelf nicely and affordably. Replacing 19 year old 18volt dewalt drill and driver set that still work nut didnt want tbe different battery sizes. They'll be good hand me downs.

[Rewarded Review] Dewalt makes such high quality tools

A project I was working on got robbed earlier this year. I had several miscellaneous brand cordless and corded tools that were stolen from the job site. When I went to replace them the 9 piece combo kit was on sale at my local Lowe's store. I purchased it along with a couple other Dewalt corded tools to replace what had been stolen. The tools have worked great and the 20V Max batteries are long lasting and let me get the job done. I use the drill and circular saw the most, I can trust the batteries to get the job done so I don't have to go looking for and extension cord and power outlet. The bluetooth speaker paired with my phone keeps my music playing and helps the day move along.Since purchasing the kit I have added some other Dewalt tools to my collection like ... MoreA project I was working on got robbed earlier this year. I have never been a "brand Loyal" shopper, but when it comes to the tools that make my job easier I will stick with Dewalt.

[Rewarded Review] Great combination of tools in this set!

I’m a general contractor and have been in need of a set for odds and ends on jobs for years. I was primarily shopping for a multi tool but figured I could use a grinder also. Bonus is this kit has a brushless oscillating tool but the rest os all brushed motors. Also the cord on my sawzall and circular saw became a lot less appealing when I saw this. Since buying the kit, I’ve used almost every tool except the angle drill. Battery powered Bluetooth radio? Awesome! Bought 2 60v flex batteries for extra power and it’s all been great. As many have said, this may be more of a “weekend warrior” or “around the house kit, And I don’t use them all day every day. But cut a pipe here, multi tool some molding there, PERFECT! I liked the dewalt quality and recent deals so much I ... MoreI’m a general contractor and have been in need of a set for odds and ends on jobs for years.
