A very router tool to work with. It is light enough to hold while working, and adjusting the bit depth on the fly is a breeze. Also, changing over router bits is quick and easy, too. A real pleasure to work with. Only potential for improvement is the on-off switch, which is not so intuitive to locate and operate.

I bought this model because I don't need the features of the plunge cut kit or the edge guide or the round base adapter. If you need these then the $426 kit is for you.I also run mine on a dewalt 20v max battery as they are internally the same. Don't let anyone tell you different.Great tool works good!
Excellent tool. Lightweight but seems just as powerful as my 240v plunge router, which is now surplus to requirements. Easy set up and adjustment. Absolute pleasure to use.
