I have recently upgraded from the 18V series to the 58V series and I am duly impressed at the upgraded performance.What stands out more is buying it from Mitre 10 as posed to other retailers. We are a large company and changing from another retailer to mitre 10 has meant the service, product knowledge and stock reliability has given confidence that we have not had before.

Its a big , heavy battery. On 18v tools it lasts longer than the 5 ah ones but not by a long shot. For tools like grinder and planer it feels much better as the tool wont slow down nearly as much. have yet to buy the 54v tools though so I dont know how well it works with them

I purchased 2 x of these battery approximately 12 months ago. They came are part of a purchase of a De Walt drop saw. In that time 1 of the battery has not been able to hold a charge. I have had difficulty trying to report the fault and get this resolved. I am not sure of the guarantee provided for these battery.

As an electrician I use it regularly with my 18V SDS Hammer/Drill and sometimes with my 18V hammer drill and rarely with my DCF887 impact driver and in all cases it never let me down. It is a little heavy, which is understandable considering 6AH.
Excellent value for money. Cheapest I could find online. Prompt postage.
I wanted to get this battery for a Xmas present for a family member. It is, without doubt value for money. I was expecting it to be good for that price, but I v was told it is powerful and lasted 5 times longer than the others. If you have a DeWalt product, buy this battery. You will only need one as it lasted 3 days .... and as it was being used with the cordless DeWalt plaster mixer, this is incredible. Great product. Greater price. Priceless gift. Thank you.
The way this is advertised/sales staff rave about it, I would've expected it to last quite long. I had long grass to cut, only did a 2m square section, about 20mins of work, and it drained the battery completely. Not sure if a fault, so going to take back to enquire. Stay tuned.
Punchy, powerful and compact these Dewalt 6.0Ah batteries pack a lot of power allowing you to spend more time at the coal face. Most recently used on a combi drill and impact driver set whilst up on a roof renewing a corrugated steel roof in freezing temperatures, these batteries lasted for 3 days without needing a recharge. Impressive. Doubtless their performance will fade as they et more use but as a starting point it's already streets ahead of other batteries. The downside though is weight. These are heavy on the hand when fitted and as the day goes on, you definately feel it. That's the trade off.
Pros: Bought a couple of these at a great price for my Dewalt Cordless mower - even though they’re only 50% more capacity than the old ones, they seem to run at least twice as long, so I guess my previous ones have not been treated that well. Very happy with the purchase.
The best value for the price I paid. Most important is I now forget about charging, even though I was screwing solid for 3 days. Its st got plenty juice left. Its about as large as practical for my screwdriver and hammer drill. Lasts for days on my worklamp. Soon be needed on a 54volt chop saw. Glad I delayed buying a chop saw, though mine is on its last legs. I was gonna buy a corded one. Phew!
