The Dewalt DCE089D1G 10.8V Multi Line Green Laser is the newest addition to Dewalts state of the art cordless laser measuring tools. The laser line is an ideal measuring tool for both domestic and commercial projects and can be used for a large spectrum of applications, both indoor and outdoors. Green lasers are becoming more and more prevalent in todays lasers tools. There are two primary reasons for this. The first been that green lasers have a longer wavelength and they offer a greater visible distance than red lasers and secondly; green coloured lasers are generally easier to see. So Dewalt have incorporated specialist green laser technology into the DCE089D1G-GB multi-line laser in order to provide maximum user functionality. The model itself as a whole has some fantastic features. Firstly it features x3 360o lasers which provides a maximum measurement accuracy while also incorporating an individual self levelling feature with a range of 4o ensuring optimum use on uneven surfaces. It projects bright green horizontal and vertical lines providing visual clarity to users and has an accuracy of +/-3mm at a 10 meter range. The laser has a working range of 30 meters without a dectector and 60 meters with a detector. It offers a variable blink mode allowing for manual measurements as well as boasting a full time Pulse mode that maintains a full brightness for use with a detector. The laser has a locking pendulum to prevent damage to internal components and also features a magnetic pivoting base with a 1/4" thread. It has been manufactured and waterproofed to IP65 standard giving it strength and durability, making it ideal for harsh working environments. It also features a water resistant overmold and has been 2 meter drop tested. It comes with a 10.8V 2.0aH battery and charger with a standard fitting UK plug. After (just over a year) of owning this laser, i realised it was slowly going off the level. By the time i realised, it was about 20mm off,over 10 metres. I had to get it calibrated myself, but i think its already losing its accuracy, roughly 5mm over 10 metres. It was perfect after it was calibrated, and hasnt been knocked or dropped.Moral of the story, with any laser, you should check its level prior to any work. If you can get one that holds its level, theyre a great piece of kit.

Early days at the moment but used twice to fix to ceiling 30 LED strip lights down the center of a couple of newly constructed corridors. Worked well, clear lines and decent battery life. Made the setting out very easy and a real plus to have the option of 3 lines. Good product at moment, time will tell.

Been using a cheap 360 laser level from China through Amazon which broke after 9 months so thought I’d invest in the dewalt level as I do a lot of tiling. The build quality is amazing really robust, definitely should have bought this instead of going with a cheaper version, you do get what you pay for
Don’t know how I have done DIY around the house without one of these before.Yes expensive but of kit for a home DIY’er, but I do a fair amount of moving of sockets, tiling, wall panels, new skirting, architraves etc and this piece of kit makes the work a doddle. Especially when you can get the level of multiple sockets around a room aligned in one go. No need for spirit level or even tape if you don’t want to.What’s more Toolststion was the best priced on the internet as well as next day delivery.Whilst it wasn’t shown in the description, this kit came with the battery, charger, case, glasses, target etc.Green laser very clear. I was looking for a laser from the Milwaukee branch but couldn’t find one that has the features this dewalt has. I use this laser daily, it has an excellent battery life. Extremely robust it really gets put through its paces. Indoors and outdoors useable.with the green laserbeam it makes for fantastic clarity.We recently used it for on a concrete frame that went up 32M the frame was off a minuscule 15mm over 32M which is amazing accuracy.The only downside would be the price.
I borrowed one of these after struggling with a single line red laser, the difference is incredible! Lining up cabinet runs is far simpler even where the run is broken by an appliance etc, plus the three x 360 lines are great for setting out tiles and wardrobe running gear, door linings etc. Already have the battery platform so chargers aplenty, would have preferred this to run in the larger battery though so I could swap batteries out easier. It is on the expensive side, but having tried before I bought and knowing the longevity is there from a personal recommend, I parted with the funds and am not disappointed. Using it on every job to get my moneys worth!!
The best thing ive ever bought. Squares, plumbs and levels everything. Bright 360 laser and a long lasting 2ah battery means this thing does most of my work for me. The magnet is powerful enough to adhere to even a skimmed corner bead despite this laser being on the heavy side. Having 2 threaded holes for any kind of tripod means i can set this thing up in the middle of a room and have everything all on the same level. Although costly, it is worth it, it makes my life as a joiner a whole lot less stressful.
Having had dewalt & stabila laser levels for years, I needed a 3 line laser to set floor joists in a very out of square farmhouse. This laser made it so easy to determine the best centre line, with a second 90degree line to square off from & a really accurate horizontal. It's accurate to 0.3mm per mtr which is excellent. The magnets are very strong & the supplied mounting bracket has a lot of room for adjustment. This laser came in a T stak case and is well secured. It has a pendulum lock which is a must at this cost & the line is really easy to pick out - much better than the equivalent red laser. For anyone needing to set out accurately I would advise buying this laser - you won't be disappointed 5
