The DEWALT 100 Metre DW03101 Laser Distance Measure calculates area and volume with automatic calculations that make job estimates quick and easy. It has an additional triangular area function. The integrated inclinometer can be used as a digital level to calculate continuous height and indirect horizontal distances. Indirect height measurement uses Pythagoras to measure distances even when point A and/or point B isn’t accessible for linear measurement. The laser distance measure has a large 3-line backlit display which helps to improve screen visibility in both dim and bright conditions. It features a memory unit that stores last 20 measurements. A multifunctional end piece folds at 90 degrees for edge measurements and extends 180 degrees for measurements from corners. Durable design with over-molded housing, which has been 6 ft (2m) drop tested, and is IP65 water/debris resistant.

I love my new Multitool I've been a Dewalt tool man for over 10 years now and find the quality and reliability second to none. I would highly recommend this Multitool for making life a lot easier thank you ManoMano for a great bit of kit.
Used primarily for sanding small woods, the paper support lasted at most 2 hours; after he melted ..... The grip is not at the top; when lighting, it is almost useless since it does not illuminate the point to be treated. VERY DECUS in view of the price.
I am always satisfied with products of this brand. It's just missing a cable holder where we could plug in several tools with which the saw is normally used.
Very good tool, powerful and very practical for blade changes. I would have preferred wireless but it's really much more expensive (more than double). Suitcase with quality preformed foam to store tools. On the other hand no places planned for the purchase of new blades.
For professional use this product lacks the options of its predecessor. No more support for blades on the feet and disappearing rollers. This product is however by its length one of the only allowing cuts on sections of great length alone.
This is the second I buy this year, for a second machine. As written in one of the previous comments: Stable footing, very handy for cutting long lengths, cutting bars of similar lengths (stop function). It takes up little space once folded. I had one of an earlier version (10/15 years ago), the handle was reduced on this version, it's a bit disturbing to spend a big hand of carpenter .. and we looks like they have reduced the width of the support cleats (which results in having two pieces on top of each other that are not the same size ..) So once folded, there is a day . Nothing very serious but at 300 balls the support can bother. The system to fold the feet is however much better than that of the old version, there are big levers that facilitate storage without ... MoreThis is the second I buy this year, for a second machine. Seems excellent build quality. We love it. Was installed very quickly and simply with just 4holes to drill in to secure the brackets.
I used it to "knock off" floor tiles. Only downside, but it is important, there is no safety trigger very careful when laying, the slightest touch starts the machine.
I had the same model but of previous generation at my former employer (company of frame / wood frame). This base makes it possible to install a miter saw (radial) and to have a mobile work space very quickly. Compared to the old model, the system for folding feet is much more convenient. But the carrying handle seems smaller, and not great for big hands .. The fixing system is more worked on this version, so as not to accidentally fall the machine. Legs lightweight and very stable in all terrains, the long arms is very convenient to cut very long lengths (amounts of frame etc. ..) I think this is a model that can accommodate almost all radial of all brands. I installed my radial BOSCH pro without worry (I just had to remove the non-slip pads).
You can do without it when you don't have it, but you can't do without it when you have it. A multi is super practical and useful, This one from Dewalt is very good and perfect solid, very good ergonomics. Only small problem, we can not adapt all the blades of other multi from Fein for example. Ps: the 3 year warranty on the dewalt site is a real plus. I recommend to all DIY enthusiasts
