The DeWalt stand makes an excellent combination with the Milwaukee cordless table saw. The M18 table saw however does not fit the brackets of the stand without modifications. But all it takes is to drill or enlarge some holes.(To fit M8 size bolts) Since the minimum spacing allowed by the stand bracket's bolting slots is half an inch to wide to accommodate the saw's geometry (15.5“ vs 15“), one has to do the following: 1. Drill a hole 1/2 inch inside the inner end of the rear slot of the brackets. There is plenty space available before the release handles would become an obstacle. This reduces the minimum spacing just enough for the saw to be mounted onto the brackets. 2. Remove the four rubber feet from the saw by unscrewing 8 small screws. If you wanted to put the rubber feet back on the saw before mounting, you would need longer bolts than the ones provided with the stand. I have left the rubber feet off and mounted the brackets metal on metal. The positioning of the saw onto the stand using the recommended detent slot is just perfect. This is it. It works perfectly this way and you have the best rolling stand in this price range on the market for your M18 Fuel table saw.

Hi got this stand for my DeWalt table saw and it was great. I like that you could roll it anywhere you want. It is pretty heavy with the saw on it but nice that you can store it away and just roll it out. I had to watch the YouTube video for installation because the directions definitely weren’t the best. It took about 45 mins to put together while watching the video. I would definitely recommend this stand. I gave 4 stars because of crappy assembly directions.

I recently purchased the DeWalt 15 Amp 10 in. Compact Job Site Table Saw model number DWE7840 with Site-Pro Modular Guarding System with Bonus Rolling Table Saw Stand model number DW7440RS. I must say I’m very happy with both of these items. I’ve used more expensive cabinet grade saws before and you can’t compare this saw to them however my use will be in my garage where space is at a premium. Having this saw stay attached to the rolling stand works out very well for my needs. Not too long ago I assembled another manufacturers portable table saw and used it. I have to say I’m impressed with the rack and pinion fence system on the DeWalt saw. The front and back portion of the fence seems to track very well without having to constantly check fence alignment after each fence movement. After receiving the saw I checked the blade for 90, 45 degree setting which were very close but I went ahead and corrected the factory settings. Now each time I put a digital angle finder on the blade it tracks right back to my preset settings without needing correction. I’m also satisfied with how well the saw securely attaches to the portable stand. As of yet I haven’t found much wrong with this saw other than the cheaply made miter tool. It’s pretty much something to get by with until you can find a better one or construct a sled with angle adjustments. Oh…! And the “T” track isn’t a “T” track, it’s a groove without the “T” but I haven’t found any issues with that. This may be an issue if you want to use a miter gauge with a “T” you already own. As stated in some of the other reviews, you can’t use a Dado set with this saw. The blade arbor isn’t long enough to accommodate the stack up length.

The manufacturer / retailer provided this stand as a gift for buying the table saw. (Contrast: Some competitors bundle these items for the same price). The mounting brackets had holes which were not properly drilled to allow insertion of the provided, four hex bolts. I was forced to make a trip to the hardware store and buy four bolts to fit the holes! The stand's underside is missing a rubber piece (one of two) intended to stop movement of the handle. The stand has supported the weight of the table saw. I did not perceive any shaking of the saw on the stand. I have yet to test mobility of the stand.four hex head bolts,
There was an obvious machining error one of the legs on the table I received. It was not stable at all. Fortunately I undid the legs and found this out before I attempted to follow the horrid instructions. Don't know if I want to change getting another one unless I can take it out of the box at the store and make sure the legs are level. Otherwise looks like a pretty good stand.
I was really excited to get this for my new Dewalt 8 1/4 table saw, unfortunately that turned to disappointment really quick upon assembly. The metal spring in the quick release mounting brackets snapped immediately when i applied pressure to the trigger to unlock it. I didn’t expect it to be top quality to begin with, but I certainly wouldn’t have guessed it was going to be that flimsy. Another thing I noticed was how wobbly it is when folded up sitting on its wheels and kickstand. Not a really big deal, more annoying than anything. When set up and folded out it seems pretty solid, but thats about all it has going for it.
I had to wait a little bit for it to come to the store because it's so popular but I think that's for a reason. The Stand seems very sturdy and while I just got it I have no complaints, with the exception of the instructions which could use some improvement. With the 7485 saw, It brings it to a very comfortable height, something off of Goldilocks. Not too high not too low, should be comfortable for most people of average stature to work with, but perhaps a bit low or high for some. I'm about 6 ft tall and think it is fantastic.
This DeWalt DWS7440RS Stand is AWESOME! I use it with my DWE7485 Compact Table Saw in my work shop. Tip up the Stand, fold up the legs and the Saw/Stand assembly tucks neatly out of the way. I originally questioned whether the DWE7485 would attach without some custom made attachment plate and I couldn't find that issue addressed anywhere on-line except images of folks making that plate. So, I purchased assuming I would be making a plate as well. Then I discovered that the DWE7485 has built in threaded attach points on the frame under those black plastic handles that allow direct attachment to this stand - OUTSTANDING!!! Back to the stand... It is solidly built, yet lightweight and portable. The wheels are very high quality - not just plastic lawn mower wheels. The fixed black legs with rubber tips beside the wheels are stout and support the weight of the assembly very securely when folded up for storage. The extending handle opposite the wheels make moving the assembly around very easy. Besides this setup, I also use the DWS779 Compound Miter Saw with the DWX724 Stand - another outstanding arrangement. DeWalt has nailed both these combinations and I am a huge fan. As a hobby woodworker I love using these tools. As a Aerospace Design Engineer, I am enormously impressed with the attention to detail, precision and quality that goes into the DeWalt line of products. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
This my first time as an owner of a table saw and portable stand. This was not a random selection for this stand. I read many reviews and considered the purpose how this stand would work for me. There is not another stand is that portable, rugged, and light weight, and easy to store in a small area. As a home owner there are certain tools that are needed for repairs and improvements to your most valuable asset. Having a table saw is one of those tools and having a portable stand to move it from the garage to the work area is invaluable especially if the stand and table saw is one unit. BTY, I brought the battery operated Dewalt DCS7485T1-EB. Both tools are excellent and work well together. I recommend both to any DIY!
This stand is an outstanding piece of equipment. I was able to quickly adapt my DEWALT Mitre Saw to this stand. At this time, I have adapted my DEWALT Table Saw to the stand by purchasing 4 x 3 inch bolts and lock tight nuts to secure it. It is so easy and fast to set up this stand I really appreciate that when the table saw is in the stowed position because it takes very little room. Excellent addition to my workshop. Additionally, this portable stand is priced just right for my budget.
