I have been using the multi tool for a couple of weeks to see how it stacks up against Gerber and Leatherman. Got to say it's good for a multitool just a little bulky. Also shiny but still waiting for that to chip off because it looks so shinny--but it hasn't yet. Additionally the blade comes out fine with little resistance. The bulkyness is not my favorite and I have small hands (female, active duty Army); however, I like that the length is smaller than the Leatherman/Gerber. So if you are looking for reach, this isn't for you. The screw driver is also a little thin but it still works, almost acts like its stripping the screws out but it's really not grabbing them as well as the more defined alternates. I like that its yellow so it sticks out so I can find it in ... MoreI have been using the multi tool for a couple of weeks to see how it stacks up against Gerber and Leatherman. I like that its yellow so it sticks out so I can find it in the grass, on a table, or on a vehicle. Finding a holster for this thing has been difficult, it is not fitting the basic 9MM holster but fits snug in normal leatherman pouch--I don't like the snug fit but custom kydex holster won't be difficult to make. Overall, it's a decent in lieu of Gerber and leatherman multi tool, bulky and shorter but still gets all the jobs done. Smooth open and close. I do like the tools are on the outside rather than inside as well, unsure why they did this but kind of cool because it'sa little different. It makes it easier to use the tools instead of having to unfold the pliers.

For the price, this tool stands out from the rest in its class! I use it consistently on a daily basis, and have done so for two years now. As a long time Leatherman user, I was forced to make an inexpensive purchase, because I lost my Wingman...no major complaints at all about this DeWalt. I've made medium-heavy duty repairs with the pliers involving nut's and bolts, used the scissors for all sorts of purposes without fail, and cranked down on countless screws with the drivers. The blade has a nice edge, too. Like any blade, just maintain it properly. As a major bonus that I quickly learned is that it's got agronomical curvature like no other multi tool. One feature it is lacking, is a pocket clip, but I found a perfect remedy for that...a holster. Yes, contrary to the reviews before mine, there is a holster out there that fits, and it has additional features that highly suit my needs.

It’s your average multi tool. Nothing that special about it. The price makes it somewhat desirable but I have one big problem with it. That’s the color. I wish they made it in other color options.

Looks good, compact size, good price (about 10x cheaper than a leatherman). The knife blade was surprisingly short compared to the handles and is can't be opened one-handed. Also, hard to tell which one is the blade. (Hint: it has a finger choil on the handle)The small ruler on the back of the file is only in inches. No saw.
Comparing this tool to my middle of the road Leatherman tool, when closed this tool is about 1/2 in. shorter than my Letherman tool, the finish is not as precise as the Leatherman. Having said that, the price is less than half of what I paid for the Leatherman, and sturdier than other tools I've owned in a similar price range. The knife blade is on the small side, but it has a safety lock and came sharp out of the box. The pliers are spring loaded. The knife seems to be sturdy enough for day to day use.
I had wanted 2 of the DeWalt Multi-Tool's for Christmas gifts as my husband has many DeWalt tools and I knew they would be top notch! The employees that helped me to get them on line in the TRACTOR SUPPLY store in Millinocket, Maine, went above and beyond to help me get them. Their names are Nina and Chris. They are ALWAYS so helpful as I visit the store often. The Millinocket store was out of this product & they both were checking other stores and then helped me to order them online right in the store. Thank you TRACTOR SUPPLY for having such amazing staff and service, here at our Millinocket store. So pleased with the product and service.
I love this tool. A surprisingly important feature for an electrician is the inclusion of a precision scissor. This comes in handy on many occasions.Otherwise, I wish it had a longer knife blade and a long ginsu blade. But it works and has lasted thru heavy abuse. Most of these multintools start to Lose their screws in a relatively short time. But this one has stayed together for a couple of years.I'm glad that Dewalt brought their A game to the multitool market.I bought 6 of these on sale a few years ago and still have 3 left in the pkg because they hold up so well. I do have 2 of them active at a given time. One for on job and one for off the job.
I've had a couple of jobs lately that didn't really need the box of tools that I normally carry around so I purchased one of these. Good quality feel to it and also when using it. Wouldn't fancy measuring for a carpet with the 2" ruler it has but for much smaller things it's good to have something to hand
I bought the DeWalt Multi-Tool because I misplaced my beloved Leatherman. I immediately felt a little disappointed by the included knife blade, but my doubt proved unfounded. The blade is combined flatblade and serrated knife. It actually worked well enough for everything I have encountered so far. I was also delighted to find that a scissors was included. That beat out my biggest criticism of the Leatherman, which makes you choose between two models to get the little scissors. This tool is great to carry when you're not planning to need a tool, but find yourself needing something right now that you don't want to, or just can't, travel back to the garage to pick up. And it's indispensable for unwrapping and assembling a room full of Santa's gifts.
I have multiple multi tools, I carry a different name brand multi tool as my everyday care tool. However I keep this one in my lunch box as a secondary unit just encase my primary one isn't enough. So far I've used this tool more times than I thought I would have, mainly because I misplaced my primary one. The pliers work well enough, the knife is small but works well, the scissors work well, all the screw drivers work well enough, and the can opener works well. For what this tool is, along with the price point I have no gripes with the tool except for one. Why wasn't a belt holster included? Honestly I've had cheaper multi tools from Walmart that included one. But if you need a decent multi tool and at very reasonable price this is one of the better ones I've had ... MoreI have multiple multi tools, I carry a different name brand multi tool as my everyday care tool. I've had just about every brand, so that being said if you're wanting to get a high end multi tool there are better options out there. I would have given this 5 stars if this had included a belt holster.
