Great product for creating a flexible storage system. Installed in the garage so tools are handy and can be easily removed to take where needed. The rack is very sturdy and comes with more than enough bars for different configurations.

I purchased the several of the boxes and one moving dolley. It was great but I need a way to store the boxes that I would not need on a daily basis. This rack was ideal as it allows me to grab the ones I need without moving every box to get to the bottom one.

I’ve been killing myself with $10 bins from the box hardware store. The Dewalt tough system as a lifesaver, timesaver, money maker, and money well spent. It’s easy to keep your tools organized with lots of different options for storage boxes and when you show up to your clients job they just feel better seeing that you’re organized and ready to work.
These Dewalt toughsystem storage tool boxes are the best thing Dewalt has made! They are extremely durable. I have really put them through the test. Still use the first one I purchased 5 or 6 years ago. Now I have a little over 20 of them. All different sizes. So this Dewalt Workshop racking system has been a very useful addition to my collection. I have a couple in my shop. They are so convenient. Just unstack them and slide and right into place. It makes my shop a lot neater and organized. They also work well in the back of the van. Both of them right to the side of your van or enclosed trailer and you can slide your boxes right in. I bought these hoping they would help me speed up loading/unloading on sites. Now the installation was a bit of a hassle but that’s whatever. I do wish the arms folded in when not in use.These are definitely not good for any trailer or work van. I’ve had 5 of 6 arms break in me while driving. In addition I’ve had a couple of my boxes break because of these garbage arms which really sucked.I’m heavily bought into DeWalt but these are absolute garbage. They probably work ok in a garage but I still wouldn’t trust this cheap plastic. Just make some folding shelving if you want garage storage. Material is probably cheaper that way.
I bought two of these Toughsystem racks for my home workshop. Each rack has two horizontal support beams (one near the top and another near the bottom. The left and right rails slide through each horizontal support. Each horizontal support has multiple slots to make it easier to align wall fasteners with the studs. There are two addition brackets included for extra support near the middle of each vertical rail. I mounted these in my home workshop which has 1/2 drywall secured to the studs. To make things easier to mount without worrying about lining each rack up so I could hit the studs, I cut three 2x4's at 53 inches each and secured them to the studs using 3 inch deck screws (2 screws in each 2x4 for each stud). I had bought this rack system during a huge sale and I am so glad I did. It was easy to install, directions could be clearer though. This rack system saves so much room in my garage and organizes all my Dewalt tools in neat place. I literally had to convince myself to buy this, the sale was too good to pass up. It is one of my all time favorite purchases and will be ordering another cuz i have more tools than my 4 tough system boxes can handle. Can’t gonwromg with Deaalt tools, etc.
