The price made me hesitate at first but I pulled the trigger on this one and could not be more satisfied. I'll be surprised if I ever have a need to replace it. That must be the reason this is the knife of choice the professionals use at Oregon inlet and the Morehead City docks.I especially like the fact it's made in the USA!

Not my "go to" filet knife But works well with fish needing a longer flexible blade. Would prefer a slight upturn on the point shape
These Dexter fillet knives are awesome! Easy to clean and keep sharp. I have a few now, in different sizes, for my fish work.
The knife was a Christmas gift to my son-in-law. He was surprised and excited when he opened the package, as I have a similar knife that he has borrowed on occasion - now he's got his own! I liked the knife because it is similar to mine and it has a sheath - most knives don't come with a sheath which is needed for protection of the edge and the person storing the knife. Nice Job
The 9" fillet knife is sharp, thin and flexible; perfect for filleting larger fish.
