I bought this blade for my Dewalt 872 metal saw. I have used Dewalt DWA7747 blades since I had this saw going on 3 years. My Dewalt blades lasted about 6-8 months with me cutting 1/4 tubing every day. I decided to get these blades because of the price difference and they claimed they could cut stainless steel. So I bought two to see if they were what was claimed. Well the first blade did not last a month. I want to blame the poor life on the person cutting. But I cant because he cut with the Dewalt blades until they became dull. The only reason I am using the second blade is I need to cut metal for a job. I just ordered another Dewalt DWA 7747. A waste of money and time with these blades if used for any production work. Its is okay for a hobbyist not for business.

Bought this for my cheapo evolution dry cut saw and it made the thing a decent saw. Built a custom 9ft flatbed using 1/8in 2x2 tubing and 3/16 c- channel and it cut it like butter the whole time. The crappy reviews are probably from people trying to use it on an abrasive chop saw.

I had bought the Dewalt brand at $235.00 Which was way more then the Diablo blade . But I like the Diablo blade better it gives a smoother cut and quieter . So yes I would buy another when needed .

Was able to make one steel cut, after that it just deflected off metal, I then bought an Evolution blade that has not stopped cutting since I got it, watched many reviews and I don't believe the Diablo folks are honest. $51.00 lesson learned. Would not recommend Diablo, but would totally recommend Evolution.
Make sure you use the right speed chop saw. Of use a router regulator. And when your cutting. Press on the handle so the wheel will cut fast so it wont have the chance to geth hot and unsharp all teeth. Tje teeth unsharpen in one second.
Replaced the stock blade on my chop saw with the Diablo- The steel practically cuts itself! Talkin cuts steel like BUTTA!!! Closest you'll get to using a light saber, if a light saber came with 72 teeth and was bright red. Great blade, if buying a metal cutting chop saw (NOT an Abrasive) consider picking up one of these blades for your projects and let your brother in law use the stock blade.
I’ve had this blade for over four and a half years, and it just got dull. I’ve made so many cuts that I’ve had pounds of chips. No matter what I cut, including the occasional piece of wood, the cut is accurate and smooth. I don’t understand any of the other complaints.
The original blade that came with my saw lasted about eight years of constant cutting. I replaced with THIS blade specifically because of "stainless steel" capabilities as SPECIFIED. I made five cuts with the Diablo on 11ga. SS tubing.That was the extent of the life of the blade. Less that three minutes of cut time.
Too many reviews left buy people using in the wrong saw. I have a Fein Slugger 14" cold saw. I cut 200 grade 5 bolts, turning them into axle bolts, then cut 2- 20' sticks of 3" 3lb steel channel into 92, 5" long pieces. I have used Evolution, Tomax and Twin City and this is the quietest and longest lasting blade I have ever used. Very quiet no squeal like the other brands. Material must be clamped to prevent blade from grabbing and breaking teeth.
Makes a very fine cut with few sparks and noise as a abrasive blade. The cuts are precise and true . Works better with lube .The cut will have a almost polished finish . If you need precise cuts or a smooth finish with no need to grind the edges . It will not get hot and warp the metal nor burn the paint . Cons: The metal particles are small and very sharp and clingy to cloths or carpet hard to get out . If they get next to your skin you will notice their sharpness.
