Fine Finish blades let trim crews get the most out of sliding or "chop" style mitre saws, as well as hand-held saws. The special cutting geometry and high tooth count produce extremely smooth cuts while minimizing "grabbing" or blowout. This particular blade is the ideal choice for trim carpenters because it leaves a smooth surface that requires little to no sanding. It's excellent for trim work & building bookcases, cabinets and shelving.

There's far too much defection in the cuts you get from this blade, this is due to the blade only being 1mm thick. Plus side is the cuts clean, but it's all over the place so won't be buying again

The negative reviews on here appear to be people who are using the wrong tool (too fast) or don't know how to use a saw correctly (the pictures with serious side-wear after "24 cuts" means they are letting the material bind the blade. This is user error and blade abuse, not a blade problem.)We make _hundreds_ of cuts with a blade before swapping them out. I cut square and round tubing from 1/2" up to 2"x4", solid stock up to ~1.5"x1.5", angle iron, strap, and even an occasional piece of wood ;)I'm making railings and stair cases and doors every day so we make the blade work hard. We run this blade on a Makita 1700RPM saw. These blades can also be sharpened and teeth can be repaired (re-brazed) for less than the cost of a new blade. Purchased this blade for dual purpose. First I needed as large a number of fine cutting blade teeth for smooth cuts with materials that tend to chip easily and I wanted a saw blade that will cut metal smoothly with little if any residue. So far this blade has done an excellent job with melamine covered chip board and provided smooth cuts through color bond steel. It is a little early to say I recommend it because I bought it for two specific jobs one quite small and the metal cutting I have only just started and may be some time before it is finished. None the less worth a look.

Have debated purchasing a Stel Demon blade for months, $100 is a lot of abrasive cut-off discs. I have to say this blade is amazing. It is smoother than a hot knife through butter. I could not believe how well it cuts and how clean the cuts are. No swarf to clean after cutting and the steel is COLD.
Cuts metal nicely but make sure you don't jam the blade, because pulling it out from a jam too hard will strip off some of the cutting bits that are attached to the edge.Keep the blade spinning as you remove it.If you keep the blade spinning at all times and don't push it too hard into your cutting piece, the blade cuts beautifully.
I use this for my Makita drop saw. It delivers nice neat edges and is perfect for the decking hardwood I use it for. It gives very consistently clean edges which makes it a favourite of mine.
Bought this to use on an old circular saw and works a treat. Have used on 3mm steel bar, 25 x 25mm tube for gate frame and the odd bolt. I did create a small table to us the saw as a dropsaw. In hindsight may have been better off purchasing a 254mm blade with better coating and the ability to cut harder stainless. Not recommended for the 174mm blade.
This saw blade is designed for LOW RPM saws specifically designed for metal cutting. Maximum rpm is 1800. Most abrasive chop saws are spinning at 3300-3500 rpm and are over heating the blade and destroying it and complaining about their inability to follow directions.I use this blade on my Slugger by Fein (1300 rpm) and it cuts sooo good. It has a thinner kerf than competing blades which gliders thru mild steel. I even had a piece of angle slip from the clamp, jamming the saw and did not damage the teeth.Ignore the whiners that don't pay attention to machine specifications, it's a great blade.
Most know Diablo makes pretty good stuff. (except for sandpaper but that is another subject) I have used a lot of the steel cutting blades from several companies ranging from 50 to 150 bucks each. They are all just okay when compared to the Diablo. This is a value beyond anything I expected since the price point puts it at the cheaper end of the spectrum and it exceeds the most expensive blade's performance by a fair bit. The only thing in question to date is overall durability. We've used it enough to put it up there with moderately lasting blades but not the longest lasting. But, even if it dies tomorrow, it will still have delivered more than what the price says it should.
BEWARE! Don’t believe the hype! Another once great brand going to the dogs. Diablo used to make great blades. They used good tungsten and heaps of it so you could resharpen as needed - saving you money. Now you pay 50% more and get 50% less tungsten. Skeptical? See for yourself. Compare the ‘old’ Diablo blade you bought last month with the new ‘improved’ ones going on the shelf right now. Sure it's sharp. Sure it cuts. But at the end of the day, while they can hype it up any way they like, the consumer ends up paying 2-3 times more. It used to be you could trust Diablo. Now it seems they are becoming another over-hyped marketing driven brand trading on consumer naivete and past reputation. Mine will be going back and I will be buying local.
