Best All Around Pants Ever
Super love my Dickies. These the only pants I wear 365 days of the year, unless I am forced to do something silly and fancy and am forced to wear some fancy pants. I buy two pairs each two years. I understand the price has gone up a bit, not too bad. Seem to last me about 1.5-2 years depending how hard I use them.I work as a Restoration Manager as well as Private Nature Guide, so half in the office half in the field. I need my pants to look good to the office folks and my tour guests, but still be strong enough for the manual labor work out in the field supervising my work crews. Dickies have been my go to for many years, will never change unless you change how you make them. Great quality for the price, great look. Thanks!... Show more

Great quality - not so great sizing.
Pants are well made, good quality, heavyweight material. Sizing is way off. Having read other reviews about waist running slightly small, decided 38 inch waist pants for son measuring 37 inches should be perfect. Guess "relaxed" fit means a lot more relaxed than we anticipated. Even washing and drying a couple of times these pants swallow him alive. He has a good belt, so we will keep them. Will think hard about sizing next time we need to order.... Show more

Left Utility Pocket is Awesome, But…
I love everything about these pants except, I wish they were made with the flex material and flex waist. I’m normally a size 32, but I have always ordered pants 2-3 sizes bigger because of the gym. Now that I am getting back into the gym I needed a size bigger for my legs and butt to have some breathing room. I have the flex series carpenter pants in a 34x34 but they don’t have the left utility pocket like these do. Which I absolutely love. It’s perfect for my phone. Even my buddies iPhone 15 Max Pro fits in it. I hope Dickies one day makes these carpenter pants exactly the same as they are now with the left utility pocket with the flex material and waist.... My favorite work pants
I already own 8 or 9 pair . The best work pants hands down .I am a Fabricator for a machine shop and boat yard . We work in rock wuarrya instead chutes in boat yard in Bilges and tanks welding cutting fittings . If they had a little more Fire retardant it would be nice but they don't flame up and handle small sparks great . Sizing is a little weird at time I have 3 pair 36x34 and 3 38x34 they fit the same . I do compare these with the other C brand and the Du336 weather ford /Sanded pants with the extra wide loop are my favorite .... Show more

Pockets, or.. not..?
For a pair of work pants that are geared towards tradesmen, I find the quality and material to be unparalleled. However, I'm failing to understand why on earth the pockets are so narrow. Every day when it's time to finally head home from the shop, I'm finding that I have to take everything out of my pocket individually, just to reach my keys at the bottom. I ordered four pairs, and I'm not going to return any, simply because after a few weeks, they're already showing much more resilience than the Carharrt work pants I typically find myself in. Bottom line, great pair of pants made with high quality material and meticulous care. But you're going to have to reconsider where you keep your keys, zyn, spare magazine and pocket light. I will continue to buy Dickies ... MoreFor a pair of work pants that are geared towards tradesmen, I find the quality and material to be unparalleled. I will continue to buy Dickies products, but it will not be from their website, it will be from a location where I can physically ensure that the pockets aren't stitched in from woman's designer jeans.... Questionable fit and quality.
I thought these would be a good alternative to more expensive work pants. Had to size up and they still don’t fit right. Usually wear a 32 waist, returned them, and got a 34 which are definitely too big. The proportions of the pant seem to be off. Ill fitting, tight around the hips. Ended up keeping the larger size…they don’t look great but at least I can move in them. Good enough for now but I won’t be getting another pair.... Show more

Real Carpenter Customer
Hello -Long time construction customer of your carpenter duck workwear. I like the heavy weight carpenter pants as well as the short and long sleeved tees. Fit is always consistent and the sizes are within my 32" x 30" inseam as is the medium size for my shirts. Short of ordering a custom size 29" inseam (which I doubt is possible) I will continue to order your products. Also - thanks for the beanie! It will be a stocking stuffer for someone.... Show more

These are a winner!
Heavyweight Duck material IS heavyweight! Well made, finish quality is excellent. I really like the button through hole enclosure, instead of a snap type. Pockets are deep & spacious. Delivery was prompt. What drove this purchase for me was the fact that these Heavyweight Duck Carpenter pants came in a 30 waist 34 inseam. I had purchased Dickies cargo paints with the heavyweight Duck material, but the longest inseam in a 30 waist is 32; I love them but never was truly happy with the short inseam. I own five pair of regular-fit Dickies 874 classic work pants in 30 x 34 & love them. Now I have these wonderful heavy-duty carpenter pants in 30 x 34!!! I just wish the cargo version of these pants were offered in 30 x 34.... Show more

Very Satisfied, but pleading for consistency
I've purchased these Relaxed Fit Heavyweight Duck Carpenter Pants for the past couple years and have always been satisfied with the fit, color options, and especially the fact that my iPhone Pro Max with an Otter Box cover fits perfectly in the side pocket. Now, regarding the side pocket, if Dickies could just follow suit with the Relaxed Fit Heavyweight Carpenter Jeans, that would be great, but I have about (5) pairs of the Jeans and the side pocket is too narrow and will not accept my phone without removing the Otter Box cover. Disappointing as I wear the Jeans more often than the Ducks and need the Otter Box cover as I'm in construction.COME ON DICKIES, GET IT TOGETHER. PLEASE!!!... Show more

Wore out quick
I didn't buy off website, but the local farm store.I'm disappointed in the quality. Forever, Dickies has been known as the workwear powerhouse.I've owned these pants for 3 months. I don't do a horrendously physical job, but enough that I needed quality work wear. The croch has already worn through on these, and squatting down just today blew a bigger hole.A number of those self conscious questions went through my mind, did I buy the right size, am I wearing them too much, did I put on weight. But nothing is different from other pants I own and these blew out quick. The comfort and utility is great. I'm just sad that they didn't last as long as their reputation seems to say.... Show more
