Buy two sizes smaller, stiff fabric, sleeves poor
Ordered four medium shirts. As it seems the country of manufacture leads to noticable discrepancies between fit and quality, I'll also say they were made in Mexico. I normally wear a large, but even in a medium, these Dickies shirts fit me like an extra large or double XL in length, and the shoulder seam rests similar to an extra large. The sleeves aren't the most comfortable construction; moving my arms pulls on the shirt in an odd way, like there's not enough material in the underarm area. Could be the fabric is still stiff from the factory and needs breaking in or a couple washes? They definitely deserve a wash before use due to their chemical smell. Wearing them however, the fabric isn't noticably uncomfortable. It's heavyweight and feels stiff is all. I would ... MoreOrdered four medium shirts. Couldn't Be Better!
Super nice tee-shirts! Not only are they soft and fit perfectly, but my husband likes them especially because they last such a long time, holding their shape and fit. He has a semi-permanent glucose reader and needs to keep the monitor within 3 feet at all times, hence ordering shirts with a pocket. The monitor fits perfectly in the pocket and is snug enough not to have to worry about it falling out. I ordered 3 colored tee-shirts for the first time...he usually likes just plain white. But, he loves the colors because he can wear them under flannel shirts and they look great. Thanks for making such a great tee-shirt at an affordable price that can be shipped to our door out in the middle of a cornfield in south central Illinois!... Show more

Decent shirt but doesn't fit like my older ones.
I used to buy these when Walmart had them in the stores and loved them. I wish they still carried them in stores. My review is mostly to point out my perceptions of how these differ from what I bought when Walmart carried them in the store. This was my first time buying them online. These aren't terrible but don't fit the same. The difference is mainly in the fit but there are a couple other differences.Fit: After opening the package, I laid my older ones on top of the new one. Pre washing, the new one was a bit longer but quite a bit wider. The ones I purchased before in the store fit narrower.Post Washing: The new one from online was still quite a bit wider but shrank some in length and was about the same length as the older one, maybe a tiny bit shorter but not ... I ordered the Burgundy and the Hunter Green this time.Pocket: The pocket is a little different. The ones bought when they were in store had a single pocket. These have a partitioned pocket. One narrow part that seems to be good for a pen or pencil. It's nice either way but some may prefer it one way or the other.Logo: The ones in the store were sewn on the sleeve, which I did prefer. However, the logo on these is sewn on the pocket. This is how they are pictured online so this wasn't a surprise.Sleeves: Post wash the sleeve are a bit shorter than the other ones I had bought when Walmart had them in store.Material: The weight is nice. Seems well made.Overall it isn't a terrible shirt. My main negative is the fit which is more of a personal preference. Some may prefer the wider fitting shirt, but I do not. Also, I prefer the logo on the sleeve, not on the pocket.... Show more

Fits great, but stains far too easily
I bought six of these in 2XLT when they were on sale a while back. I absolutely love the way they fit, they fit better than any tee I've ever owned. They shrink up a bit if you're not careful about how you wash them, but that actually makes them fit better. I'm 6' 1" and 275 lbs, and I have trouble finding shirts that fit well; normal 2XL shirts are always too short after they shrink, and most 2XLT shirts are way too long. After shrinking a bit, these fit exactly how I've always wanted a shirt to fit. Initially, I couldn't have been happier with them. However, these things get grease/oil stains like nothing I've ever seen. It's ridiculous. If you cook in them, they'll stain. If you work on a car, they'll stain. Drop a bit of mayonnaise on them? Instant stain. Accidentally touched your shirt with a bit of 3-in-1 oil on your hands? You best believe it stained. And not only do they stain absurdly easily, the stains are impossible to get out. Every single one of them that I bought had grease stains on it by the third time I wore it. It's a real shame, because I would have been buying these for the rest of my life if it hadn't been for that. So unless you're either never even in the same room with anything oily or you're buying these strictly as work shirts and you don't care how they end up looking, I can't recommend them at all. I'm now stuck with six shirts that I can only wear if I'm gonna get dirty anyway. I gave them one star in value because I feel like they're way too expensive for shirts that you can't wear in public after one wear.... Show more

Great all around in looks, fit, comfort and value.
Dickies heavyweight pocket tees have been my go-to tee shirt for both work and play for over 15 years now. The solid-color tees are 100% cotton; and therefore they help keep you cool in the summer, and toasty warm under a hoodie or crewneck sweater in the winter. The fit is still excellent after all this time, and they are durable enough to last a LONG time as factory work clothing (going on 10 years for some of my Dickies tees!). They're true-to-size, unlike their major competitor (which starts with a "C") whose stuff not only runs HUGE, but costs a LOT more. An excellent value for the money.... Show more

Heaveyweight Tee-shirts
If you have been looking for a heavyweight tee-shirt but have been disappointed with what is out there, then brother your searching is over. Dickies heavyweight tee-shirts are the best, they are as advertised, well made, fit great and look great. Perfect for work or play and best of all is the colors dont fade away nearly as fast as other tee-shirts do. I've been buying them for years now and love how they hold up. I got my newest order of them from the Dickies on-line store, super easy app to use and received my order before the estimated arrival date. Great price on the tee-shirts too.... Show more

Quality went down
Bought these over a year ago, very happy with them, still wearing them. Bought them again 5/2024 and they are completely different. Scratchy, stiff fabric, doesn't fit as well. They seem to be smaller and more snug, even though its the same size. Very disappointed. Just when you find something you like, they change it, and not for the better. Won't take my chances on these again. They need to have better quality control and stop cutting corners to save a buck. You're just going to lose in the end. Sad!... Show more

Short-changed
Reviewing Dickies LT heavyweight pocket t-shirtI am 6’ 4” 205 lbs, 16” neck, 34 waist, 34 inseam, (tall, average build), construction work.Been buying Dickies t-shirts for 10 years. I currently own 23 plus some long sleeves. The large/tall size has suddenly, drastically changed. These shirts have always been my go-to work shirt as well as a casual everyday shirt.Being above average height, without a “tall” size choice I am sometimes forced to buy an extra large shirt to get the length I need. This results in a big boxy potato sack looking t-shirt with a neck sized for a horse. The Dickies brand LT has always been plenty long in the sleeve, even a little too long in the body of the shirt. Their regular large size is a little too short for me. I own a few and ... Their regular large size is a little too short for me. I own a few and have to stretch them forcefully before wearing them. The neck is the smallest I've found. The competitors' necks are way oversized. The new sleeves are 2 inches shorter than the old.The new body of the shirt is about 4 inches in diameter bigger than the old.The new shirt is about an inch shorter in length. The neck seems similar. The fabric feels hotter. (Could just be me, I have no way to measure this)The old one was made in Pakistan and the new one in Mexico.I would bet that taller people would, on average, have longer arms. To shorten the sleeves of a short sleeve shirt by 2 inches and still call it a Tall is quite a stretch. This new shirt size is more along the lines of an XL/S (short)I’m not happy to write a negative review and have been a fan of Dickies for a long time, but to have a private conversation with the CEO was not an option presented to me on this site.I've begun shopping elsewhere.... Simply the Best...Better Than All the Rest...
Excellent as always. Dickies are the only true "heavyweight" T-Shirts left to buy, they're even better after you wash them and are worth the slight difference in cost as I've still got Dickies shirts that have outlasted other brands now long gone. You only have to try Dickies heavyweights once to know what that word truly means. My favorites are the long sleeves since you can always wear the sleeves up, however once the summer weather hits it's nice to have some of the short sleeves waiting. The longs are also good for layering in cold weather and if it's one thing you can count on it's that everyone looks good in a Dickies T-Shirt.... Show more

Will reorder again
I purchased these T shirts for there quality and style , Dickies T shirts are well made with quality heavy weight material , but not so heavy they are uncomfortable. Also the workmanship is comparable to T shirts that are much more expensive . The T shirts fit well through the body “ not big and blousy “ , quality collar , “ no big stretched out neck hole “ . The sleeves are the right length , “ not to short or to long “ . I am tall 6’2 so I would recommend that a tall person order the tall size . But I would recommend that before ordering these shirts to take measurements and follow the guide lines on the size chart . I usually were an XL with lesser quality T shirts , but with the Dickie T shirts I wear a size large , but I don’t like a loose fitting T shirt to ...
